Re: W&L 2024
The last transfer that I can recall that had an impact was Greenspun from Hobart. Correct?
Re: W&L 2024
Bou from Richmond. 2009, Connor Locke, Loyola, HM All-American Goalie. Back in your day, Rob Morgan, transferred from USAF.W&Lacrosse75 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 6:31 pm The last transfer that I can recall that had an impact was Greenspun from Hobart. Correct?

Forgot about Bou. Rob Morgan was a great addition. Connor Locke I believe went to St Stephens & St Agnes near DC.

Harris Hubbard , Furman. Was Burns an Air Force commit
Re: W&L 2024
Burns, at the very least, was probably considering USAF not sure he was a commit.Dehuntshigwa’es wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 7:05 am Harris Hubbard , Furman. Was Burns an Air Force commit

Update: IL lists him as a USAF commit, appears starting in May, 2020. Then in June, 2021 he lists as going to W&L.

How many times do you see a high school defenseman voted Player of the Year in his conference?

Re: W&L 2024
W&L not only landed Shallcross, but Gabe Reiter (also on the list) as well. The downside is that W&L may have just lost the guy who recruited them to the FDU head coaching position. The Gene McCabe coaching tree is growing: Corrigan at Air Force and Harvard, Koch at Denison, Ryan Rhode at RMC and Denison, Nat St. Laurent in the PLL, and now possibly another to FDU. And I’m sure I’ve missed quite a few.GeneralBart wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 10:30 am How many times do you see a high school defenseman voted Player of the Year in his conference?

I don't think this is accurate. But I agree with your point, Coach McCabe is the best!and now possibly another to FDU.

And I hope it is not accurate. But I wasn’t referring to Coach McCabe, just an assistant.

I’d be very surprised by that move. After building up a great resume you take FDU. Last winning season was 2015 and coming off a 1-15 year. Makes no senseW&Lacrosse75 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 11:32 am And I hope it is not accurate. But I wasn’t referring to Coach McCabe, just an assistant.

Shallcross supposedly playing football as well. Wish some of these guys would stick to lax and participate in fall ballW&Lacrosse75 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 10:59 amW&L not only landed Shallcross, but Gabe Reiter (also on the list) as well. Re: W&L 2024
Totally agree. If he does make that move, he must really want to leave, or really wants to be in charge.Dehuntshigwa’es wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 12:42 pmI’d be very surprised by that move. Re: W&L 2024
Just don’t see that move happening. I think everyone stays put until at least after next year.Dehuntshigwa’es wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 12:42 pmI’d be very surprised by that move. I hope you are right. Seems like we lose someone every year. Continuity is almost everything to the continued success of the program.
Re: W&L 2024
Taylor Mendoza is not going to FDU (or to Middlebury). Those are just troll posts.

Re: W&L 2024
Ha. You don’t want to acknowledge the obvious train-wreck going on up at Middlebury? Fine. But what exactly do you know about W&L?
If McCabe doesn’t step down soon, Mendoza is gone. And from what I’ve heard, he isn’t exactly thought of in high regard, so I don’t know which direction this is headed. I don’t know if there are personal issues outside of the program or not, but a change of scenery might solve whatever the problem is there. It seems like, with all these interviews, Mendoza feels the same way.

Re: W&L 2024
Considering the success W&L has experienced the last several years along with the continued growth of the sport away from what were considered the” traditional hot beds” coupled with its academic reputation W&L is primed for additional success. Very interested in seeing what the recruiting class this year will bring. Thinking the recruiting class from 2025 could be exceptionally strong. Curious as to roles they are emphasizing to fulfill.
