Idk maybe like Charles balsamo
He most all his minutes to Johnston this year. Did you stop watching in spring 23?

Desko thought LOGAN WISNAUSKAS wouldn’t play much at Cuse. Transferred to Maryland after redshirt year. Won the Teewaraton.

Also a guy called TD IERLAN transferred from Albany to Yale. I hear he did okay.

Ummm also BROOKS SWEET.
Your info on Wisnauskas is incorrect. He was slated to play big minutes the year he left and he didn't leave due to playing time or the RS.
You could be correct. All I know is what I was told, which was Cuse had 3 attack men with points returning in ‘18, and Desko told him he would not start over those three: Rehfuss, Solomon and Voight. But to be fair, I absolutely do not know anything more.
Finster, what is with all the spaces between posts. You are only adding to my carpal tunnel.

Rhefuss, Solomon and Bomberry started at attack in 2018. Voight was a man-up specialist. You may be right, but I always thought that the understanding was Wisknaukus would start at attack in '18. It is what it is at this point and probably doesn't serve much purpose to relitigate players who aren't even playing college lacrosse anymore.

Sorry about the spaces. And to your last sentence, agreed. I’m just killing time to next February 😂

@NDlacrosse attackman Fulton Bayman is joining @HoyasMLacrosse as a grad student.

A four-star recruit coming out of Lovett (Ga.), Bayman put up four goals and four assists for the Irish this season, appearing in 13 games for the national champions.

Four @DU_MLAX freshmen entered the portal this week, according to multiple sources:

- Former 4* Greyson Vorgang, A, Niskayuna (N.Y.)
- Former 4* Gavin Dallas, M, Eastlake (Wash.)
- John Totaro, F/O, New Canaan (Conn.)
- Nick Catino, G, Delaware Valley (N.J.)
From what I have read, Dallas is an athletic midfielder who shoots and passes well on the run. Former two-time USILA HS AA. Played only two games for Denver, so should have four years of eligibility remaining.

Really good player. Remember he was lighting it up as a Frosh before covid cancelled the season.

Saw he played in 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024 at Fairfield. 2021 redshirt.

2020 Covid + 2021 medical redshirt? Seems like he can potentially play 2 years?
he has used 3 eligibility seasons. has 1 left.
Yes but covid is a free 5th year for everyone. Let's say next year in 2025 he's using his "medical redshirt" from 2021. He'd technically still have a redshirt from 2020.

Talked to a coach who's all over the portal. Said the decision would be up to him and he'd need an NCAA Waiver- which he likely would get since 2021 was a medical redshirt.

2020- Covid RS (Free redshirt for every player in NCAA)
2021- Medical RS
2022- RS Frosh
2023- RS Soph
2024- RS Jr
2025- RS Sr (Medical redshirt)
2026- RS GR (Covid redshirt)
I have a lot of dissonance over this sort of scenario. On one hand, good for the kid to do what he loves. Wouldn't we all appreciate that? On the other, move the hell on and get a job. You have toddlers and an apartment across the street from campus (joke) and are playing against 19 year olds. Give someone else an opportunity.

Unless he got hurt early in the year he would only have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

HPU midfielder Nick Rizzo has entered the portal as a grad student (pending a waiver appeal), per a source. The North Carolina native was a First Team All-A10 pick in 2024, posting 19 goals and 15 assists while shooting 36.5 percent. Rizzo also put up 17g/16a a year ago.

Guessing spallina? That’d be extremely surprising given the whole family is there, #22, he said he’s always wanted to play there etc

I think the question was how many years of eligibility would this player have and I would think it's pretty clearly one. He still gets only 4 years of eligibility and he used 3 from 22-24. He can play in 2025 and then he is done. Covid gave players 6 years to play 4 (2020 didn't count despite teams playing 5 or 6 games each) rather than the normal 5 years to play 4. It didn't give players the ability to play 5 seasons excluding 2020.

attackman Eric Malever has entered the portal as a grad transfer, per a source. Posting 15g/22a as a senior, the former Top 10 recruit racked up 105 points in three seasons in College Park, missing all of 2023 after putting up 48 points for the national champs in ‘22.

I keep thinking Notre Dame, which had BJ Burlace as a reserve last year via transfer and has younger brother Gavin on the roster, might make a play for Colin Burlace. Just a hunch.
Here is BJ talking about his transfer to ND

For what it's worth, in the twitter comments Xanders says this wasn't the case, and the two moves are independent of each other.

Ty is a good man, but I doubt Tillman would discuss the situation with him. It could be coincidental, of course, but no matter, I think the Terps come out far ahead here.
Doubt Tillman is the source for Xander's tweets or sub-tweets.

Spallina leaving??? Maybe this is related to Malever leaving Maryland. Would shock me, but you never know these days 🤷🏻‍♂️.
