Haven't seen anything officially posted. Maybe some inside information? Rumor start at the North/South game this year? Shelly has been there for over 20 years.
First of all, ya better check your tone. I dont think you know who you're talking to. I'm Leonard Washington...I don't get butt naked for nobody!!

I'd take Rhodes over Kean slightly....Better academics (can recruit the Prep Schools) and easier path to NCAA tournament....

You realize Rhodes campus makes all of the most beautiful campus lists and has even been ranked #1 also the library comes in behind only a couple of Ivies and UChicago.
So I'd say the same to you

Rhodes campus is excellent and well kept. Great campus and great school. Had a friend who’s son went there.shaadb-man wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 9:12 pm You realize Rhodes campus makes all of the most beautiful campus lists and has even been ranked #1 also the library comes in behind only a couple of Ivies and UChicago.

Since we are talking about libraries.. I’ve been told that Rhodes dining services sells beer and wine on campus .. add that to the lists!shaadb-man wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 9:12 pm You realize Rhodes campus makes all of the most beautiful campus lists and has even been ranked #1 also the library comes in behind only a couple of Ivies and UChicago.

Yeah, what I said didn't come out the way I wanted to. I wasn't try to compare the 2 schools, there's not much of a comparison both academically and aesthetically, Rhodes wins both.shaadb-man wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 9:12 pm You realize Rhodes campus makes all of the most beautiful campus lists and has even been ranked #1 also the library comes in behind only a couple of Ivies and UChicago.

What I meant was Kean has everything it needs to be a top 20 team, great recruiting area, athletic facilities, proximity to NYC, Hoboken, train station on campus. If the Admin. gets the right guy and supports the team, they will be very good in the future. They have a lot coming back next year.

Also very valid points to what makes this an appealing position at Kean. Need to go FT. Any word on that?
Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
That's why I used the word slightly....Kean certainly has the appeal for the right coach to create a strong and sustainable program...

Nope
Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
Kean is striking in person. Still, you're staring at Salisbury and CNU. I can see the other poster's point on taking the Rhodes job instead, but I also feel like Kean could be a northeastern powerhouse with the right direction.laxdad1434 wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 6:33 pmWalk around the Kean Campus and get back to me.NNELax wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 4:58 pmI'd take Rhodes over Kean slightly....Better academics (can recruit the Prep Schools) and easier path to NCAA tournament....

Never visited the Rhodes campus, so I'll take everyone's word that it's terrific. No doubt location plays a huge role for Kean going forward.laxdad1434 wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 6:33 pmWalk around the Kean Campus and get back to me.NNELax wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 4:58 pmI'd take Rhodes over Kean slightly....Better academics (can recruit the Prep Schools) and easier path to NCAA tournament....

Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
The Kean opening really surprises me, must be something more to it, the program had a nice turnaround post covid, obviously the new conference with Salisbury and CNU almost kills the tournament chances but not a very solid job, I imagine a lot of people will be trying to go for the job given it is FT. If its not FT there has to be more going on behind the scenes because there is no reason to move on from Shelly who is a long term face of the program, an alum and has tons of alumni support.

Also, I understand you have to have a process but this puts FDU in a tough spot, would imagine everyone who is interested in FDU will be more interested in Kean
