The numbers from the Final

Here are the numbers for the Final : 789 in attendance...The seating capacity at Showalter Field is listed as 400 or more. It's a nice facility, but it's more akin to a place where you would go to watch a Summer Club Tournament as opposed to going to watch the two best teams in Division 2 Lacrosse play for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

I thought the TV coverage was good and solid. Great camera angles and replays.

Why couldn't this game be in Cary, NC??

The NCAA should be ashamed of themselves for this entire weekend. First they hold the opening ceremony in A place that girls from most of the teams described as a strip club. Second, the hotel they put them up in was disgusting. The girls rooms had mold box. The facilities were exactly what you describe. A literal town park/high school field maybe. No taping tables no misting fans like the men’s teams no actual locker rooms. It was an embarrassment to assume that because this is a D2 women’s tournament that they deserve anything less. And the game being at noon in 95° heat was also pretty poor planning. When you’re holding the biggest tournament of the season in Florida, that should’ve been squashed from day one. That game should be played at six or 7 PM. I have a feeling that the commissioner will be getting numerous complaints across-the-board on this one

To treat these girls like they are “less than” any D1 female athlete is ridiculous. They work just as hard. They just chose a different school. Hell They were treated less than the d2 men It’s a disgrace
