SF #6 Virginia vs #7 Maryland Saturday @2:30
Re: SF #6 Virginia vs #7 Maryland Saturday @2:30
Weirman doing his thing and UVa defense is creating offense for Maryland with unnecessary slides. UVA may have the best set of 1 on 1 defenders, why they love to slide is beyond me

it's infuriating. can't believe they did it not once but twice in 2022 vs umd, eliminating any chance to win. they're doing it again.
and maltz might finish with 6 goals if fulton keeps ball watching.
Re: SF #6 Virginia vs #7 Maryland Saturday @2:30
Comedy of errors. Not really sure what this offense is, if you can even call it that. Took 30 seconds running sub out. Seriously Cassese?

Anish can't stop mentioning Kastner to Stanford for basketball. Trust me, as a Cardinal season ticket holder, no one cares. Focus on the game.
Re: SF #6 Virginia vs #7 Maryland Saturday @2:30
millon with effectively 2 turnovers in a row, 2nd leads to a goal. shellenberger has to take over whether it's good or bad results.
Re: SF #6 Virginia vs #7 Maryland Saturday @2:30
I mean we can’t catch or pick up ground balls today but this is not an offense. Honestly don’t even know what Cassese
Is doing. It looks completely disjointed.
Guys don’t appear focused. Shelly has to take over.

Great half for Maryland.
Re: SF #6 Virginia vs #7 Maryland Saturday @2:30
lol carc interviewing a player at half? What’s the point of playing the second half apparently espn thinks the game is over

Re: SF #6 Virginia vs #7 Maryland Saturday @2:30
Two problems for UVA: Wierman, and they play only 1 natural middie (and he is 2 way guy not a pure scorer).

Problem is Lacrosse is a TEAM game.
That's not going to beat the Terps today. Time to Coach Lars.

We’re down by 4. You’d think we’d be down by 20 after what I just witnessed. Again our defense gets caught ball watching but we look like we’re just playing club ball on offense. I’d love for someone to explain what exactly Cassese is doing.Laxfan88 wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 3:58 pmProblem is Lacrosse is a TEAM game.

Moved Boyden to attack, moved Millon to mid. Meh results. Getting gbs vs Wierman now but not picking any up. Was Schutz a #1 IL recruit? Today's not his fault but he has underperformed in his tenure. 24 2nd nothingburger in a row.
D has to do it. There'll be no make-it-take-it today.

Shelly needs to push the pace and just let it rip. Playing too passive. What’s the point it slowing it down and passing the ball if you have no game plan? I swear we have no design on offense.
We might need a coaching change. Payton complete ghost. You design to get him involved.

Pretty hard to win when you aren’t winning the grit parts of the game such as making saves and winnings faceoffs
I can’t believe in the final stretch of the season Virginia is having troubles making saves for the past month.
