Is Garzone really the only senior in the starting lineup? Had no idea, I assumed at least Tagliaferri/Waldbaum/Panagopolous were as well because they’ve been contributors for several years.

Most of the people that play are Freshman, Sophomore and Juniors

Yep agree but I would say that Christmas did not get as much playing time this year as years past. Most of the kids on the field at anyone time are the underclassman and I have noticed over the last few games that they are playing more freshman

Best of luck to them!! Two outstanding lacrosse players. And I'm glad they're not going the Cross Ferrara (HS Class of 2017!!) route and doing their 5th and 6th years in the NESCAC/D3!! Make sense for DJ as he is from Michigan. Looking forward to seeing them have the same success as Jack Boyden and Mason Kohn have had this season!

3rd party observation: This thread has been absolutely bananas all year. I don't know what to make of it. Yes, there was some trolling. No, not all of you are nuts. Your schools are some of the the most prestigious and academically challenging. Your lacrosse programs have achieved so much. And yet, you consistently project inadequacy and display sensitivity to opinions in conflict with your own. None of this makes sense to me. Not looking to pick a fight. Just telling you all to chill, enjoy the NESCAC participation in the final, and recognize the joy man.

You hit the nail on the head. People have been making it about the wrong things. There are have been homo phobic comments, personal attacks on coaches and people, and plenty of mis-information not related to lacrosse. It has made this at times unreadable. Like or Dislike coaches, parent, this board is about lacrosse and it has no room for hate. For example, people have been lashing out because the Tufts coach likes to post picture of shoes and helmets on twitter to support the Tufts brand. While they entitled not to like it, when they start insulting his character for that, that is when it get ridiculous. Personally, I think he is a STANDUP guy. This morning his response to a hate-filled tweet was nothing short of brilliant.

We should keep this board about lacrosse. Yeah we all have our different opinions but we should argue about lax. If people don't like the way coaches coach then say it diplomatically. The problem has been that people have been making it personal and filled with hate. This is why the board has deteriorated.

Interesting on Dixon! Before the season started this spring his plan had been Rutgers. Michigan certainly seems a more attractive option, they must have come with a later option. Should be a solid player for them but I expect Byrne will have more of an impact.

There’s way too much hate for Tufts on this forum. Let’s give them credit. They are an outstanding team that is far more athletic than the teams that won national championships 10 years ago. The styles may be similar, but the athletes and talent on the current roster are significantly better.

100%. fans and parents are why almost everyone dislikes tufts. the players are fun to watch.
they are an above average team. the fans act like tufts has won ever D3 championship ever played.

Saw press release stating that 31 members of the Midd men’s team made the nescac spring all academic team. Since you’re only eligible after your first year, that must mean close to 70% of the team is carrying a 3.5 or higher gpa. What true student athletes.

Trolls abound. The games are in Philly. If you’re referencing Tufts practicing at Gillette thats based on their connection with the Kraft family. Tufts slept walked into a few games at the end of the season including Hamilton in the playoffs, but that doesn’t take away from how good they have been in the season overall.
