Clamping the ball to the ground on the face off is allowed again?
Three times (at least) should've been called on Denver.

Best game DU has played all year. Good for them.

If a host school can't provide the proper field they shouldn't be allowed to host.

Or how about at least burn off the football lines for a week?
Removing the football lines and repainting them might be a $25,000 expense at best.
Re: QF #4 Syracuse vs #5 Denver Sunday @ noon
Yes. You would have to do that. The blue paint they use for lacrosse gets reapplied every week for games. The football lines use a different paint that gets reapplied once a year. Unless you mean they should paint green over the football lines.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 1:24 pmyou don’t to replace the field to cover up the football lines.Wheels wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 1:20 pmI'm sure the NCAA would love to pay Towson $1M to replace that field, I'm sure they would. And the best toe drag for a goal that I've seen in a looooong time. Beautiful move.

Denver just has better players on the field.

Mark Matthews made that so sexy. Who you rooting for….tough decision, no?

That was a clinic in man-yo defense by Denver
Re: QF #4 Syracuse vs #5 Denver Sunday @ noon
Denver's defense is so good. Syracuse is way into danger zone right now.

Denver. In the interest of seeing Carc's ACC-centric brain explode.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 1:28 pmMark Matthews made that so sexy. Who you rooting for….tough decision, no?
But actually, just want to see some good play.

When is Syracuse going to have a frustration penalty?
Re: QF #4 Syracuse vs #5 Denver Sunday @ noon
Considering the opponent and situation, the Denver D is playing the game of the year.
We know Cuse can go on massive runs though, so not over

Not too to mention they are faster, quicker, better stick work, and have better footwork than Cuse offense.
It’s gonna take some sexy shooting off picks by Cuse or transition goals to stay in this.

This Denver defense matches up so well against Cuse. The Orange don’t have anyone that can beat the pios poles so they can’t draw a slide and zip the ball around like they usually do.
It’s forcing Cuse to play outside of their comfort zone.

He's gotta do something (meaning his coordinators will have to do something).
I've seen Syracuse play a lot this year. The ESPN guys keep talking about the "hyper ball movement." Against bad teams, yes. Lots of skip passes. Where Cuse really moves the well against everyone is when they're running. No transition means no ball movement. The Cuse guys all have insane stick skills and great awareness of where their teammates are. But against set defenses, their midfield is where they win actual match-ups. Not happening today.

Yeah, they're running out of time. DU is doing to SU what SU did to Duke. This has been such a weird, streaky year where it seems like every team in D1 has a game or two where they just don't ever get off the team bus to play. I can't figure out why....youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 1:34 pmNot too to mention they are faster, quicker, better stick work, and have better footwork than Cuse offense.
