Great game. W&L and their fans should be proud. A huge win and an injection of self-belief.

Wow!!! The lack of any close games and really tough competition definitely showed, would have benefitted from a real conference this year. Amazing effort from W&L after it looked like they were going to get run off the field in the first. Bye bye home win streak too.

CNU's defense was not a strength this year. Also, some of the flags thrown today were soft. Both things can be true.

That double that caused a turnover near the beginning of the 4th was a thing of beauty--every defensive coach should get film of that to teach young players. You had the perfect vantage point from the broadcast on it. Super clean, textbook. Mindblowing that it drew a flag. That felt like the dagger.

But credit to RIT--they were the better team today, as they have been all year.

CNU did not adjust in the 2nd half. RIT did and that’s the difference in the game. The D coordinator was horrendous. Definitely showed he was not ready for this season.

Can we hear all about that amazing 1st quarter against Swarthmore (average team) again and how it demonstrated Salisbury is absolutely unbeatable this year?

Berkman can sit in his perch and schedule nobody’s year after year (Berry, Scranton etc….). Sometimes it still works out, this year it bit him, his team was totally unprepared for a good game and crumbled in that 3rd quarter. Pick up the phone JB and call RIT, Tufts, Wesleyan, Bowdoin, Amherst, St. Lawrence, Union, etc….they’d love a game. But no…we’ll play Grove City instead.

Make no mistake, Historically that is one of the biggest choke jobs/upsets of all time in D3, maybe the biggest. Undefeated and at home with a 7 goal lead and can’t even get out of the Quarterfinals. Lotta guys graduating too…

I'm one of those Salisbury faithful and I was definitely not crowning them yet, thought I didn't think they would lose this one. If you look earlier in this thread you will see that I felt Tufts would be fired up to play the Gulls again but that Salisbury shouldn't look past W&L, which I guess they started to do midway through the 2nd quarter.

This is a rough one. As I mentioned I wasn't really able to watch but W&L seemed to start winning every face off and scoring right away. One moment that sticks out to me is in that 2nd quarter I get pumped to see on the Live Stats that Jude Brown has scored to make it 10-5 with a couple minutes left in the half. Then I see Penalty:Jude Brown Unsportsmanlike Conduct...and then another W&L goal.

As I mentioned, I'm surprised that there was no timeout called in the 3rd quarter during that onslaught but the timeouts were used well in the 4th quarter so what do I know.

This one is going to hurt but congrats to the Generals!
