Great win by Tillman. 18 turnovers and sloppy play on both ends for most of the gaame, but face-offs, goaltending and a coaching advantage.

He had 3-4 goals… Real problem is the flow of the offense. Just a dodge and watch offense for most the game. Aggressive dodge that draws a slide and then a throw back to a non-threatening player.. This game was face-off and coaching mismatch
No championship.

Look, I like Charles Barkley, but he ain’t a champion.

O’Neill is a great player, but the lack of a championship matters.

I think his Tewaaraton chances are now nil.

Tillman … best lax coach of his generation.

Both are great. You are an outlier on this predominantly intelligent and cordial message board.

6 losses and not reaching the final four with that roster is not a good look.

The end of the Starsia era was BAD. How long did they go without an ACC win? But I hear your point.

Bottom line: the offense hasn’t lived up to its potential with Dino Jr running the show. Time for him to go. Ironically, he was the ONeill of his era. All the accolades. No natties.

Tillman’s 10th Final Four.

Has reached 7 finals.

Plus, the undefeated 2022 team ….

They’re saying Dino had O’Neill, Zawada, Dyson, McAdorey, and Naso and lost to Ryan Siracusa and Daniel Maltz?

Chat is this true?

Duke probably wins this matchup 8 times out of 10. That's the #tillman effect

I didn't love what I heard from him in those (numerous) interviews with Carc throughout the season. He's been doing this for so long and winning for so long that it seems like he's lost the killer instinct. And that's reflected in his players. The body language has been bad all year for a team that lost in the finals and should have a chip on their shoulder. But they are routinely less than the sum of their parts. Feels like we are close to the end of a great run

Even Breschi thinks that Dino Jr doesn’t get enough out of all the talent he has on the roster.

The Duke O is too static, despite having (arguably) more talent than any other O. Just watch ND and then Duke and the difference is remarkable.

The TV shot of Tillman and Danowski during a fourth quarter timeout is telling. Tillman himself is seen coaching his team, giving instructions.

Meanwhile, Danowski is seen drinking a bottle of water.

Both great, HOF coaches … just different.
