They should've made a switch at half. Not only is Downs not making any saves he's come out of the crease and given up at least 2 empty net goals.

They didn't really have an alternative to Downs.
He came in this year and saved the Tigers bacon - didn't look like they'd be able to get any goalie play at all coming into this year, and no transfer(s) - and Downs came through.

They have two real talented goalies coming in this year.

Towson fans were great, let Cuse know they were there. Brought a ton of enthusiasm, made a lot of noise.
Might have spent a little time tailgating in the parking lot prior to the game (there were a lot of them out
there) but it's all good. Cuse fans made a lot of noise too, sounded like more than what was there. The Dome
was electric, great atmosphere.
Hiltz's stick is just too pretty, fantastic passer, his skip passes are on a different level, aint a bad shooter either.
Nothing from the Spallina critics today....surprised (not).

Fun game last night.
Excellent and entertaining first half, lots of back and forth.
Great response by Cuse in the 3rd. Nice fight by Towson till the end.
Sunday evening NCAA Syracuse games are always my favorite.
Cheers to the awesome Towson contingent. They have a great tradition and fan base.
