Not a single point from the top 6 offensive players yet. Penn is playing great defense and Carroll has been tremendous. A few pipes helped as well. Things not going Cornell's way right now.

And yet it's a 1 goal deficit. The difficulty with playing at the level Penn is is that they have to sustain it. Gotta just keep at it.

I wish Q and Carc would just stop talking about the PLL. Nobody cares and few know what they are talking about. It is incessant and annoying it happens every game

Gotta be careful about shot selection.

I could be really wrong, but I think that Buczek will pick up a few weaknesses in the Penn defense and put together a few sets and plays to exploit any weak points. Also, if Cornell can get enough possessions, perhaps the Penn close defenders will begin to tire. Carroll is simply a brick wall. Shot selection is extremely important LGR!

It's tough having Long out. The offense misses him and is struggling. Cadigan is a good spot up shooter, but he does not put pressure on the defense ike Long does. Long averages 3 assists per game and the offense misses his passing. The top two Ivy teams - Yale and Cornell - have just been riddled with injuries this season. I'm worried that we are watching the last 30 minutes of the season.

They just put first half stats up. Cornell is winning the stats (I know that doesn’t matter except scoreboard) except for saves: 10 for Penn vs. 5 for Cornell.

Carroll remains the difference.

What a dirty play that was. No respect for Penn after that crap. Two dirty hits on Kirst in a few minutes. It's just uncalled for no matter what Frick and Frack the announcers think.

I can't believe that Quint is defending thar hit as clean... the hit on a falling player was unnecessary.

100% a penalty but I don’t think there’s anything dirty there. Kirst clearly trips into him.

I'm assuming this post was referring to the previous hit from behind. I don't think this hit was dirty so much as unfortunate. That said, still deserves the 2 minute unreleasable. Intent has nothing to do with it.

Why hit a falling player? Not necessary.

Talking about the hit on Kirst just now at the crease. Yes, definitely deserving of a penalty, but I don’t agree it was dirty or intentional. Think that’s what Chousnake was saying, unless he meant a different play.

Just not a good pass on the man up. Uggh. Not Cornell's night. This is what happens when the tough losses to Denver, Penn and ND leave you with no room for error. This is essentially a playoff game and they are up against a hot goalie with Long out. They can't buy a goal when scoring has come easy all season.Just a strange and somewhat ugly game. There is no flow to this game, which plays to Penn

Goldstein and Gilmartin seem like the only players who have Carroll's number tonight.

Great season for the Big Red. Sorry to see it possibly end this way. Hats off to Penn for a well executed game.
