Marist 2024
It was just mentioned on the College Lacrosse Discussion Page on Facebook that, after beating Siena last year, Marist's overall and conference records were similar to what they are now. In 2023, the Red Foxes won their next five MAAC contests, including three in the tournament, and were conference champs. Could we see deja vu in 2024?

Re: Marist 2024
It's not impossible. Of the four teams above them in the MAAC, only Manhattan has played a tougher Strength of Schedule (according to Massey). They looked good against Siena. A big test will be for them this Saturday when they host LIU/Post.
Re: Marist 2024
Watched the game last night after ESPN cut back to U. Marist looked great on offense but could use some help on defense especially the ssdm's. They were getting run by a lot and late slides didn't help. #4 caught my eye in this regard as he always seemed a step or two behind on many scoring plays. Just a quick take on 40 minutes of viewing.

Still can't believe they beat Jacksonville but lost to Wagner.
Seems they're getting it together now. But they need consistency to win the "Wacky" MAC.
My guess is either Marist, Sacred Heart, or Quinnipiac to win it all. Heavy favorite on Sacred Heart.

Marist tops LIU 15-8 on the back of a strong 2Q run as well as excellent goalkeeping.

Could their game vs. VMI end up being for a spot in the conference tournament?
