Fun fact, UVA's Galica and Rachel Clark played on same high school team

I remember watching a broadcast of a PIAA game (district playoffs? state playoffs?) that my nephew was calling. Stoga vs. Unionville at Stoga. Unionville with the upset. Clark, the senior, a non-factor in the game for the Pioneers. Unionville shut her down ... and Stoga outcoached IMO. Some sophomore named Galica nearly put the team on her back to prevent the loss. Kid has game.

Wasn’t Doucette the goalie for that Unionville team? Or am I thinking of a different year?

I don't recall ... but NJBill is usually right on the money. Just checked, this game was Spring 2021, Clark's senior year.

Hopkins jumps out to a huge lead. Michigan roars back in the 3rd quarter and takes a two goal lead early in the fourth. That’s my prediction. Also. I hate Michigan.

The grad transfer from Lehigh had a very nice career and up her game this year for UVA. I'm sure NJBill recalls her HS days

I remember because Moorestown played Unionville at the Cape scrimmage in 2019, which was the year after Doucette graduated. (This was a few years after you and I met at the Cape scrimmage.)

Galica a very nice player. But Rachel Clark was acc rookie of the year with 64 goals, a uva frosh record. She may have been shut down in high school, but when she got to uva, she was lights out impactful….

I sure do. Always thought she was underrated in HS. A killer with the ball going to goal. Quakers played her team (Summit) in the Group 3 finals in 2017 and 2018. (Also in 2016 but we don't talk about that game in Moorestown (a massacre). ). She scored goals in both the 2017 and 2018 games, each a tight one goal affair. We won one; they won one.
