This will be a real test of whether Crawley can make good in-game adjustments.

That timeout by PM could haunt them in such a low-scoring game.

This is the kind of game where the Big Guys (Peshko, Collison, and Grimes) need to play like Big Guys, dodge, and get the Penn State D moving.

D is playing great.

Does anyone know the stats on how many goals we've scored when holding for the last shot? (I'm thinking zero.). Or, more importantly, how many good shots have we gotten when we held for the last shot? (Also zero?)

2 weeks in a row a unit of the team-last week faceoffs, this week offense has been a complete no show wasting great defensive efforts.

"Does Hopkins have anyone who can beat his man"-Is something that really helped crush Petro and Benson at homewood. Degnon/Chauvette/Collison/Grimes/Peshko look like statues out who seem like most of the offense to be afraid to go anywhere near the goal. Time for some more mcdermott out there with bauer maybe. He seems like he's more mobile.

This is a real x's and o's moment where we see what Crawley is made of. The faceoff unit seems to be getting its groove, the defense has held. This isn't a game it's a win and 1.5 game advantage over penn state and could help avoid the big ten play in game and keep them in the mix for a top seed.

Crawley is a good, young OC. But he gets a complete fail on offensive adjustments for the third quarter.

It took half a game to adjust to the Rutgers zone. They don’t have that much time today.

And what the h*ll is Collison and Grimes doing today?

I’ll put 06 down as supporting the bring back the Smurf movement

Great TO call, so Tambroni could set the offense. (sarcasm font)

That possession with 3 minutes left was terrible. 80 seconds of zero threat. Has happened way too often this year.
