Timing for first green card. O/U 4:30 left in first quarter
Taking the under for $50.
Will there be a coach's timeout in the first quarter? Yes +280
Wagering $50 to make $140 on this prop.
Total ND goals not scored by seniors/grad students: O/U 3.5.
Taking the over for $50.
Not the best start for ONW. 2 green cards in first half, but both in last 3 minutes and no coach's timeouts.
House up $105 for the night. ONW needs 4 underclass goals for the Irish in the last 3 quarters. Probably need a running clock for this to happen.

I had me a hunch--that's why I played light. Yep--I need a total of 4 goals by frosh, sophs and juniors in the next 3 quarters. $110 back to the book...so farLaxDadMax wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 7:35 pmLooks like I made some $$ for Spidey.OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 2:49 pmLaxDadMax wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 10:59 am Props for Notre Dame / Clemson Game

Yep--not ashamed to admit it, Spidey ol' bean. Looking forward to seeing whatcha come up with. And again--if y'ain't feelin' it for the writeups, just the lines alone would suffice. For this degenerate gambler, anyway. On another note--I'd like to ask again--since you seem well versed in wagering parlance--2 team teases? 3 team teases? Number of goals for a 2 team? A 3 team? What do you think? Yes? No? GFY? What...
In any event, looking forward to seeing what you present for the big ol' raft of Saturday games.
Re: Spidey's Sports Book
We can get into teaser's... buy a point or two... Let me see how that plays into things. I'll have to come up with a list of added goodies... Got 4 games that may or may not be interesting. Any others you think of, I'll at least put a spread on. But for now, these four are the only games that really jump out to this WLax fan...OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 6:05 amYep--not ashamed to admit it, Spidey ol' bean. Duke @ ND
UM @ PSU
NU @ MD
Working on the write up now
Saturday 4/6/2024
UVA travels to Louisville after last week's gut punch from Duke (I know they bounced back with a win against VCU, but that doesn't count). The Cardinals have been back and forth since their suprise come from behind win against Clemson. Despite some skeptics on this here forum, the Hoos will come out swinging and will clip the wings of the Cards today. If the Hoos can lock down the elder Nakazawa and Perroni, this one won't be close. If those two can play like they have been all year, then Louisville will have a shot, but I don't see that happening today. UVA will maintain their grip on the #4 spot in the ACC today.
UVA -4.5
Duke heads west to meet the Irish today. This one will be interesting. Notre Dame has proved it likes to play to their competition...especially in games they should win by more than a goal or two. The Irish have six games decided by 1 or 2 goals going 4-2 in those. Some of them should not have been close (Looking at you Brown and Clemson). Today could be one of those days. I see the Devils riding high on a 3 game winning streak and they have their eyes on the prize aka the NCAA tourney. A win here and the Blue Devils are a lock for the tournament. BUT, today will NOT be their day. I do think Duke hangs in there, but ultimately Notre Dame takes the Dub.
Notre Dame -2.5
Moving onto the B1G scene, we have Michigan heading to Panzer to face Penn State. Penn State needs a win in their next three to be eligible for the tournament (unless they can win 2 in the B1G tourney - they won't). Michigan still feeling the sting after the let down at Maryland last week will get back on track this today. Michigan, much like Maryland, will lean on their defense again today as their key to victory. Penn State's last 6 games are 1 or 2 point games (winning 5 of those 6) so if they can hang around, they've got a shot. But today, the Blue and Maize will be too much for the Nittany Lions to overcome. Penn State, much like Duke, has been overrated all year and today they get knocked down a peg. After today, PSU will have to beat Hop or MD to get eligible. Things are getting interesting!
Michigan -3.5
And finally the granddaddy of them all! Two of the most decorated programs in all of lacrosse meet tonight at what has been dubbed on this here forum as the grandest facility in all the land! #1 vs #2! The defending NCAA Champs, Northwestern, visit the Terps in College Park. Keys to victory for the Terps: Shutdown Scane, Coykendall, and Taylor - limit them to sub 10 goals combined, and SCORE. Keys to victory for the Cats: get out to a 3-4 goal lead early. The Terps lack the fire power for comeback wins. Maybe it's the Terp fan in me attempting to do the reverse-jinx, but unfortunately for the Terps, they won't be able to hang with the Champs today. In fact, this could be a "who's your daddy" game for the Terps. It wouldn't surprise me if the Cats put an absolute beating on the Terps. But, I think it's a bit closer. I think I went with NU -2.5 earlier in the week, but the line has shifted...
Northwestern -3.5

Take Northwestern Notre Dame UVA. Not touching the Penn State game. Michigan doesn’t look right right now. They seem a little sluggish and not sure who is in goal.
Northwestern sends a message today.

I wouldn't touch any of these games, which means the lines you figured are excellent. It will be interesting to see how they all hash out.spidey44 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 9:27 am UVA travels to Louisville after last week's gut punch from Duke (I know they bounced back with a win against VCU, but that doesn't count). A two-pack for today...
Boston College hosts Clemson. I don't see this being much of a game. Clemson needs to be competitive here to help their tournament chances, but I think BC has something to prove. Too many big guns and Clemson won't be able to stop them... Clemson will keep it close in the first half, but the Eagles wear them down as the game goes on.
BC -5.5
9-1 Yale hosts 8-2 Penn. Penn follow their huge win over #1 MD with a disappointing loss to Princeton. Similarly, Yale is coming off a loss, but as expected to BC. With the home field advantage and record vs common opponents, I'm giving the nod to the Bulldogs here. I think we'll see a tight one and looks to be a good game as the battle for the top of the Ivy rages on.
Yale -2

Ahhh--the drought is over. I'm back to life with a bang. I'm all over Penn getting 2 at Yale to the tune of half a G. (That's $500 to you )
