Inside lacrosse lists are a complete sham. First off they have players listed out of position and they over represent the teams they like and under represent others. If all those players on NW belonged on the lists they should never lose a game and if UVA only has one 3rd team player they should never compete with these top teams etc.

Well Michigan has to beat MD before the next poll comes out. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that won't happen and NU will be back at #1 where they belong.

Based on how this season is going so far, you're probably right.

I think MD loses 2 of the 3 following games (Mich, NU, Hopkins), no strong feeling over who they beat of the three. I think MD is the type of team who will play any top 15 team close. Their defense will always keep them in games but their offensive limitation wont let them easily win games over teams who they should beat on paper.

I actually think they matchup against NU better than the other two mainly because NU struggle with bigger physical teams (read: ND and PSU). I think the Michigan game will be a super low scoring game (heard spidey set the over/under at 14.5). I think Michigan wins mainly because they will have the best player on the field in Jill Smith and should be stronger in the circle.

She definitely stood out on when they played MD. Her performance gets lost because she plays on a team that's not great.

Penn State's is now 6-5 with 3 tough Big10 games and Vandy left. Best finish will be 7-8. Doesn't deserve a bid and doesn't qualify for one with sub .500 record. Expanded Big10 conference tourney gives them an extra game, but it will be a loss or a win and loss in best case. Doesn't push them above .500. PSU is not beating Hopkins the save their season.

I watched the 2nd half of the game last night again. Nice job by Ohio State, but a total collapse by PSU. Some really bad decisions and they did not take care of the ball and took some really poorly timed shots.

Not at all. Everybody is flawed and everybody is a contender. The talent is spread around and nobody is playing at a consistent and high quality level. Probably the best odds are with a team like Penn loaded with experience and a great blueprint for consistency.

Our offense is really easy to defend. Since we are generally less athletic than the good teams we need a crisp, speedy passing offense with skip passes to Leubecker and Edmonson. Instead our passes are slow looping predictable.. and we even drop those lobs. It’s a lazy offense. It’s too late… the offense we need that corresponds with our weaknesses would have needed to be developed pre season and drilled in. Penn has a better game philosophy and blueprint with better players and more disciplined execution.

This is why Rosga needs to play. She doesn't have the technical talent that the Mays, Edmondsons and Clevengers have, but she has a great first step and quickness which is exactly what the terps need.

That's gonna be a no from me dawg.

Then who else can they bring in to create some space for Edmonson and Leubacker

Maybe they shouldn't try to run so many isos through those 2 players? Just a thought. Defenses are too good for that these days. More about spacing than creating space for individual players.
