My daughter was at a showcase about four years ago and played on the same team with Kayla MacLeod. She was the best player I ever saw live at the club level and was lights out at the 8 meter. Not shocked to see her dominating from there four years later. She’s gonna be a star.

Fun game. Refs swallowed their whistles a bit in OT (which I am ok with). However, Clemson should have had at least 3 shooting space calls during their first OT position. I could tell the Clemson sidelines was INFURIATED.

NU is playing without Sammy White or Carleigh Mahoney and Coykendall went down with an injury in the first half. She’s back but doesn’t look 100%. The cats don’t look great and Penn State looks much better than expected.

In a continuation of the weirdest season ever, Penn State just beat NU in OT. The cats looked off in every phase of the game… Taylor was too busy flopping at the merest suggestion of any contact to actually go to goal. The demise of Izzy Scane is greatly over exaggerated and I’d bet that if she could still ride without the stupid green cards the cats would’ve won.

Two unreal games tonight!

Notre Dame is VERY lucky. The officiating crew was extremely kind to them. Watching the replay of them chopping the stick out of the defenders hands and scoring a goal has to be one of the worst no calls of the year. The Tigers didn’t get the shooting space calls that the Irish did either. Outstanding game to watch. #10 & #20 will be fun to follow over the next few years.

What to make of this Penn State team? Barely beating Lehigh and Cornell to taking down #1. Something feels off about this NW team (I know there are injuries but seems like they are really missing Rhatihan from last year. O’Neil is so good and glad to see her get a moment to shine. She’s been great since she’s been in Happy Valley.

Watched the NU-We Are game this morning. It's always very satisfying to see Northwestern lose. I thought, candidly, that O'Neill should have been called for the charge on that last foray that took her to the FPS. If O'Neill played at almost any program in the ACC, she'd be in the conversation for all the awards.
