Trying to explain how I came to these results would require an explanation of the Pythagoras theorem, and how I applied Avagadros number.

Interestingly, RPI puts the Hoyas in the same spot. Seems like potentially because it has Notre Dame, Penn, and Duke much lower than the general consensus.
That's the RPI. Penn is outside top 20 in RPI.

It's been a whack season so far. I have a hard time saying Denver deserves that #1, as Cornell was clearly the better team until the refs stepped in. For that reason, I might slide Army to #1. Wow. The team that took out the then #1 team is not in the top 20 Rpi?
Just tell them arriving at a conclusion will happen along the timeline of Xeno’s paradoxjoewillie78 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 3:33 pmTrying to explain how I came to these results would require an explanation of the Pythagoras theorem, and how I applied Avagadros number.

Don't think that's accurate. This one from Lacrosse Reference is updated through yesterday's games:
I have Cornell at #9, after losing to my OWN #1, AT DENVER. With your rationale, should I have Cornell higher?Brownlax wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 3:15 pmThat's a big drop for UVA going to #7 after losing to your own #3 JHUjoewillie78 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 3:00 pm My new top 20, March 3rd.
