Conn handled St As for a majority of the game today. Went up early in the first quarter and held a multi goal lead throughout. Backups came in late for both teams and St As came back and tied it up. Game went into OT and St As won 9-8. Conn definitely controlled the game and would’ve won by 3 or 4 if starters stayed in.

Defense and Rice looked Great, St As couldn’t really do much on offense early. Camels offense moved the ball well and got solid looks throughout. Good day for the camels overall in NH.

No updates but I heard Conn was scrimmaging Amherst next weekend. Probably a pretty good preview for two mid-tier 'cac teams to see where they are at! Weird that it's happening though. Don't coaches want to scrimmage out of conference teams?
Going to be a Tri scrimmage with MIT Amherst and Conn in Boston next Saturday.

a little feed back from trinity scrimmmage
not sure why but maritime didnt play
trinity tied st Joe (conn) in first game- trinity with jitters and had to settle down
which they did in second game against Vassar- got their sh*t together and took care of both ends of the field

trinity first game against Bowdoin on Mar 2- hoping for the upset!

Any chance Trinity used Vassar for their projected starters, and St. Joe's for their bench?
St. Joe's has not had a team very long / still building

I hope that is true Salt (and it’s possible). Trinity should be able to play St. Joseph’s blindfolded and win by 10. Vassar is a decent team and a reasonable warm up scrimmage.

Yes Trinity played their backups. Surprised the bantams aren’t getting more hype going into this year considering their strong season last year and the addition of 3-4 D1 transfers

FWIW (directed at everyone): this site has a block/mute feature that's located in your profile settings page. The link is here. You just type in the username(s) and enjoy some addition by subtraction.

It's good that this site in theory has a rule against trolling (didn't realize that until Matnum PI's comment), but...given that a few users basically did nothing but troll nonstop in here for multiple months leading into the season, better to just add them to your block list and move on.

Dude, did you really ruminate over this that long? Let it go. Everyone agrees to disagree.

I'm intrigued but it's more wait and see. I'm sure they have some talent but they didn't get on the field much at their previous schools.

Most OOC teams are into their seasons already. Williams scrimmages Midd next week.
Looks like mid 20's so far, hopefully no ice in the turf.

I could be wrong, but isn't there a rule in the NESCAC that doesn't allow more than one scrimmage? Perhaps CC isn't going to Boston if that's true?

1pm at Middlebury. Is their indoor turf large enough and lined for a scrimmage? Amazing complex. Colby's is also sweet.

Bates kicks off the NESCAC action tomorrow vs Emerson, and will have 2 games in the books before anyone else in conference has 1. They’ve also never played Emerson before, kudos to them for getting new blood on the schedule despite being located up in Maine. The staff is clearly doing what they can within the conference regs to give their players a good experience and get their program going again. Good on them.

Maybe one scrimmage event...as I have seen where 3 teams meet on one weekend day.
