Push with possession, should be extra for 30, instead refs create transition the other way and we give up a goal. Hard to imagine a more impactful blatant missed call than that.

Peshko just got absolutely drilled late after that shot. No call.

A few too many turnovers by McDermott this season.

This is Denver 4Q all over again on the offensive end.

Why did Kilrain take a shot with just over a minute to play? Petro would have exploded on that.primitiveskills wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 1:43 pm This is Denver 4Q all over again on the offensive end.

The goal was wide open and they probably practice shooting as a tactic against the 10-man. Hope that helpsDocBarrister wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 1:50 pmWhy did Kilrain take a shot with just over a minute to play? Inexcusable to give Bundy that much space there.

I think they should just focus on finishing the game.DocBarrister wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 1:52 pmAh, got it.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 1:52 pmThe goal was wide open and they probably practice shooting as a tactic against the 10-man. Did Ierlan take a shot as well? Also against the 10-man ride?

Blue Jays won the game, and that’s what matters, especially on the road.
But I don’t think the fourth quarter could be described as a strong finish.
This team still needs to work on finishing games.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
To me, positives were 1) no more FloSports this year and 2) we beat a decent team playing our C+ game. The D played really well on a couple of critical possessions in the middle of 4Q but otherwise that was a Denver-like finish. We need to keep playing on offense; way too sloppy when we get out of our rythym and try to burn clock. And clearing against the 10-man ride could use a little work.
But, still early days and I'll take the win.

Yes, that was against the 10 man. We were 0-2 clearing against it in the 4Q (Deans "shot" was the other TO).44WeWantMore wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 1:56 pm Did Ierlan take a shot as well? Also against the 10-man ride?
Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
Lot of positives but this team can't shut the door in the 4th to save its life right now. That needs to get fixed
Great game from Deans. All over the field today
You can count on one hand the number of D1 defensemen better than Scott Smith, and you don't need all your fingers.
Nice of Collison and Grimes to join the party. Needed those contributions from them today with English and Bauer bottled up. This is when the midfield depth really matters. You shut down two guys, two others pop up in their place like whack a mole. Angelus and Degnon were steady as always.

Smith is playing at a 1st team AA level. I would trust him to shut down any opposing offensive player on our schedule.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 2:01 pm Lot of positives but this team can't shut the door in the 4th to save its life right now. That needs to get fixed
