Four boring games so far.
Today looks a bit more exciting.

THe Toastmasters chapter of western Saskachawon or your local nursey school has better websites than IL.Hawkeye wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2019 10:14 amI thought I would throw you a notification to go look at the recent posts in the tournament thread. Apparently we shouldn’t hold IL or any journalists to any kind of standard anymore.
And apparently all Hopkins fans are entitled for someone thinking that we should. (Or maybe there’s a pro-Hopkins conspiracy afoot by the NCAA, hard to say).
BTW, How long did Hopkins have a coaches name mis-spelled on it's own website?

I'd encourage you to watch everything but the on-ball action. You will see things develop and gain a sense of what is taking place from a coaching perspective. It's actually fun figuring out the schematics and reverse engineering what is taking place.WOMBAT, Mod Emeritus wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 6:54 am Four boring games so far.

Longtime reader over on the LaxPower thread, never was able to get an account created but here we are.
First, let’s go Jays. Looking forward to the ND game and am proud of this 2019 group.
Over the past few years, many people in this thread have not given members of the JHU team the credit they deserve. The lack of respect from “Hopkins fans” towards Shack Stanwick (and Wells too for that matter) is absolutely appalling. I saw someone on here say Shack was a victim of ER. You realize he went wire-to-wire as the No. 1 recruit in the country and broke CB’s all time points record at BL? Give me a break... this kid was the best high school attackman I’ve ever seen, and is without a doubt one of the best attackman to ever wear the Hopkins jersey. Shack, who registered at least one point in every single game of his Hopkins career (breaking TR’s record) is hardly mentioned with the all time JHU greats. Don’t even get me started on the injuries he played through! To still be able to produce with the rib and back injures he endured, while drawing the opposing teams best pole, is remarkable. Some of you may benefit from checking out some of his highlights over on YouTube. You missed a great one while he was apart of this team... I can only imagine his career points total if he was healthy for 4 years. (209 is not too shabby though...)
P.S— it’s not always about the box score! His (and Wells) ability to be the QB of the offense even without the ball in their stick was so criminally under-appreciated. The lacrosse IQ of those two is arguably the best this program has ever had.

Indeed, as noted ealier, The Hop Thread, where you can read more BS than any other thread.
Others just don't understand the Hop passion, cuz Hopkins IS lacrosse.
Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
Hi all, question. Obviously its never a good idea to look past an opponent, but i'm keeping tabs on the Duke Richmond game. Do we root for Richmond to beat Duke so that in the case that hopkins does win against ND, then a path to the Final Four becomes somewhat easier with playing ND then richmond as opposed to ND then Duke?

I think the Jays need to get this Duke monkey off their backs. Hope we get the chance next week.houndace1 wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 5:34 pm Hi all, question. Wells, for me.
I’d watch games, thinking about the last year of that “famous class” - Wells would just get the daylights beaten out of him.
He was one tough player.
Wells almost got them over the hump his senior year.
