I've seen some good debate on this bubbling up a few places and thought it'd be fun to start its own thread. Is NESCAC the best conference pound for pound, or has Liberty taken that throne? ODAC has a storied history but is it a shadow of its former self? How do you rank a conference like C2C that has a couple whales and then a big drop off?

Nescac has historically been strongest conference and still is today, I feel like in 2022 liberty took the cake though

“Beat them up” is very strong, and considering the talent on HSC, Roanoke, and RMC and the young up and coming teams like Bridgewater and Shenandoah in the ODAC it’s a fair statement to say ODAC is very relevant, will be for a long time, and hasn’t fallen off one bit. Again, watch some games, they are all posted on their websites and on demand exists.

I think the C2C is very strong. Mary washington who w\is ranked number 6 in the C2C just beat ODAC HSC 22-11.

And, I heard MW beat up on HSC pretty good today. MW is picked to be bottom of the CLC.

Bottom feeders I agree about not winning the CLC, but Kean, MSU, MW, Stockton have a better chance of winning ODAC than HSC/Noke. Nobody is beating SU/CNU, except if they beat each other. Most conferences are 2 team top heavy.

It would be interesting if anybody has ever compiled the data of OOC records.

So, on paper, the CC 7th best is better than the CLC 3rd best.

The MAC C lost their third to bottom team over to MAC F. With that, their average jumps into the 85’s and they jump the SUNYAC.

But this is the rankings from last year, and I feel that both Eastern and Messiah will see bumps in 2024 that could propel the MAC C even further up, potentially over the NEWMAC pending their own team’s improvements as well of course.

Bottom feeders I agree about not winning the CLC, but Kean, MSU, MW, Stockton have a better chance of winning ODAC than HSC/Noke. Nobody is beating SU/CNU, except if they beat each other. Most conferences are 2 team top heavy.

It would be interesting if anybody has ever compiled the data of OOC records.

I have watched these teams play several times. HSC and Roanoke are a few steps above kean and Stockton.

MW killed HSC yesterday 22-11 and your saying none of the clc teams can win the odac when HSC has a chance

If the ODAC was in the North it would never be a 3 big league.
And would even see years as a single-bid league.
