Johns Hopkins 2024
Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
Great half for the Jays. Really nice start for the FO crew who are taking on one of the best

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
This team is going to be very fun to watch on offense. I counted 13 guys who played on the offensive end that quarter.
Good start. Need to clean up transition game both ways.
Callahan doing work against arguably the best FOGO in the country. Needs to be aware tha Denver will jump him after every win, but he's winning the clamp every time.

"Hunter Chauvette can't play midfield." Remember that? Lasted 1 quarter.
Feels like Kilrain already has 4-5 GBs

Neighbors might call the cops on me after the sound I just made after that last goal
Can't shoot with both hands like Ryan Brown could but that release is the best I've seen outside RB possibly ever

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
The only "issue" for this offense is that it might be the wrong place to get individual accolades. Between the depth and the way they play, no single player is going to put up huge numbers.masondixonlax wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 12:52 pmjesus. so much talent on this team. haven't even seen collison get to work yet

Hunter Chauvette: 3 shots, 3 SOGs, 3 goals.
I doubt any freshman in Hopkins history has started his career like that.

Would have held it there. Shows you how much I know!
Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
HF16 and others were right about Chauvette. Defense seems to be in a funk. Callahan doing well.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
Was begging him not to shoot. Till he scored. I'll take itprimitiveskills wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 12:59 pm Would have held it there. Shows you how much I know!
First half:
Callahan 7/13 vs. Stathakis
Kilrain 3 GBs
HC34 3 gs on 3 shots
Angelus 3 pts

Why hold it, to save a couple seconds of penalty time? Jays gets the ball back regardless and then could hold itprimitiveskills wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 12:59 pm Would have held it there. Shows you how much I know!

Angelus has to be the most underrated player in college lacrosse.
Hopkins O is driven by Jacob Angelus.

Exactly, It's literally a free play (absent a penalty on the Jays).Gorilla Fan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 1:11 pmWhy hold it, to save a couple seconds of penalty time? No, you're right. Just didn't think we'd get a good look. But would start the 3rd with posession regardless.Gorilla Fan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 1:11 pmWhy hold it, to save a couple seconds of penalty time? Re: Johns Hopkins 2024
Anyone have any idea how Angelus might feel about getting no postseason or preseason All-American honors...?
