Lame ooc schedule.
How so? I agree It’s not the best but for Rutgers it could be way worse. Stony Brook is obviously good, Army & Yale both had very good years last year so those should be good games. One of these 4 teams - Hofstra, GTown, Princeton, & Vermont, might put up a good game vs Rutgers. I would’ve liked one or two more teams that are consistently ranked each year to be on the schedule. However, they play a couple good teams and then a lot of decent teams before taking on the Big 10 which isn’t an easy conference.

Two top 20 teams from last year (stony Brook and army). That’s it for a team with top 20 aspirations? Compare them to northwestern, Maryland or Hop. They and Michigan both have meh ooc schedules. Michigan has Denver. Rutgers has stony brook, which I think will struggle to be a top 10 team this year. Army may over perform like last year…or may revert to mean. Yale looked awful for much of last season and their best wins were army and Duke.

That’s why I say their ooc schedule is underwhelming. If Maryland isn’t a top 10 team this year, Rutgers might end up playing 1 top ten team (northwestern)…..

Impressive OOC. The Tribe's last winning season came in 2011. Perhaps on the upswing though as they finished 8-8 last year.

I'm on the Dartmouth bandwagon. Been following their recruiting and they have alot of really good young talent coming in on top of what's already on the roster. It's only up from here for them. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they won their conference.

Their 2024/2023 commits killed it at the HHH committed games. I think Dartmouth is on the upswing too.

I am on the bandwagon too. I would not be surprised if they won the Ivy this year. Penn and Yale could be tougher games.

And where the heck is Penn State’s schedule? It has to be finalized by now.

IL has 12 of their games listed (based on opponents having published). So 4 TBD games. So far not the toughest OOC schedule I've seen, but wouldn't be surprised if they run the table outside the Big10.

Lehigh is strange as well. Not a good OOC outside of PSU and Jack. Flying to Florida. Kudos to them but only scheduling one game and then 9 days off. 🤔

Stony Brook also dragging their feet with schedule release. Both the Seawolves and the Nittany Lions have slipped recently. I don't think they are the draws they once were. Stony Brook will more than ever be a pariah program in the aftermath of the Everson incident. Handled miserably from the beginning by Spallina, we have him to thank in large part for the new rules. Had he showed compassion and care toward the Everson's way back in February, we may not be on the eve of a season riddled with question marks as to how the new rules will affect the game. I'm hoping the ticky-tack variety are less and less enforced as the season goes on.

It really doesn't make sense. We're 6 weeks out from the first games being played and you don't have your schedule out publicly yet? The longer they wait, the less heat they'll take from the message boards?

It would be interesting to know which players, coaches, announcers read these boards. We know writers for USA Lacrosse magazine and IL Women read here because stuff ends up on their publications on occasion.
