A consummate pro.
I suppose I could hear him call more games but I HATE to give any more money to Flo Sports--ripoff artists that they are.
Do you pay for a subscription? If so, how would you rate the broadcast quality/camerawork?

What a knucklehead I am. Of course. Not even in the CAA anymore. Well--like Emily Littel was wont to say, "Never mind."spidey44 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 11:44 amJMU still on Flo since move to SunBelt/AAC?OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 10:22 amA consummate pro.

Very cool to watch. Added interest with the coach and former players watching along and commenting. Thanks for posting, TN.TNLAX wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 1:02 pm Fun and interesting video:

Everyone has their favorites but this guy grates on me like 60 grade sandpaper. A graduate of the Industrial Hype Complex. He claimed that North Carolina was defending its national championship title before a regular season game vs Boston College last year. Saying a given team's possession is critical...in the first quarter. His hyperbole makes my teeth hurt sometimes. However, he does have a great play-by-play voice for big goals. But my goodness, he needs to lay off the hype. The game is fantastic enough without announcers trying to make it more than it is.GratefulRed wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 9:51 pm Flash of nostalgia watching part of the Cornell v SU hoops game on ACC. Jay Alter and Debbie Antonelli on the call. A bit low energy first half (right down to Coach Boeheim in the studio) but still got a soft spot for Jay. Tries to create some excitement and steps aside for the people who know the game (Antonelli is outstanding as usual). He does a nice job of that during lax season, as well. Just 2 months.
Big Red making them earn it…
Good friends with Antonelli she’s the real deal and does so much for the special Ed community as well with her “24 hours nothing but net program.”Jay is irritating and likes to repeat exaggerated metaphors . Cannot listen to him .OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 7:26 amEveryone has their favorites but this guy grates on me like 60 grade sandpaper. A graduate of the Industrial Hype Complex. DA is a total pro. I used to love to listen to her when I was into college hoops.
I thought spring sports/lacrosse get an "extra" extra yearcaged21 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 9:44 pm Was hoping that someone on this thread could explain to me how in the world Molly Laliberty has qualified for another year of eligibility at Northwestern. By my count she's already played her 5 years.

Yup. Watch for D3 to D1 grad transfers for the 2025 season as the consequences of the NCAA’s COVID decisions continue for yet another year.JoeMauer89 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 10:08 pmShe came from D3, they got two covid years, 2024 is her second one!laxguy95 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 9:59 pmI thought spring sports/lacrosse get an "extra" extra yearcaged21 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2023 9:44 pm Was hoping that someone on this thread could explain to me how in the world Molly Laliberty has qualified for another year of eligibility at Northwestern. Wow, thanks for the clarification. Ridiculous since ALL Divisions were negatively impacted by COVID in the 2021 season- remember the Big 10 with their conference only play? They all pieced together reasonable seasons and all played championships with and without stars in quarantine and with and without fans in the stands to cheer them on. It wasn't normal or perfect but the players, from what I remember, were just happy to be playing.Laxfan212 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 6:32 amYup. Forgive me if you've already explained but what is it about this you are displeased/disappointed with?lacrossemwj wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 9:10 am Maddie Montgomery from William Smith just committed to play at Denver starting next fall. I think this will be her fifth year, but 4th playing year, at HWS (one injury year, on). Then either 1 or 2 at Denver? It goes on and on and on.
Responding to the comments about the wave of d3 to d1 and adding this example. It seemed that people in this forum thought that the COVID transfers were done and simply adding information that they are not.OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 9:54 amForgive me if you've already explained but what is it about this you are displeased/disappointed with?lacrossemwj wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 9:10 am Maddie Montgomery from William Smith just committed to play at Denver starting next fall.
