Kid must absolutely be chomping at the bit to get back out there.
But not sure what that means for a return - there are a lot of pictures of Aaron Rodgers being back out there throwing a football last weekend, only a few weeks after he tore his Achilles. https://www.tmz.com/2023/10/16/aaron-ro ... jets-game/

“Getting” trolled because your fellow douche nozzle alum figured out again how to use the inter web? That doesn’t make any sense on an open forum. At all. And from folks who whine and cry about others talking in the Hop thread like it’s closed is hilarious.HopFan16 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 9:28 amCongrats on getting trolled by a guy who is literally almost 100 years oldblue angels wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 8:42 amEven most Terp rival fans see this as a douche comment but then saw Johns Hopkins………. Surprised it didn’t come with a bunch of LOLOLOLOLs and reference to Facebook.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Re: Maryland 2024
It's interesting that so many of these recruits are from Maryland and DC schools. They're all excellent schools/programs and the Terps have always drawn from them but have we seen such a high percentage come from the locals before?

Sure do, can't imagine working under TIlls is all that rewarding/fulfilling for very long, unless you are given the keys to your coaching position. Adding, I think UMD is a great stepping stone and place to work under Tills, just not so sure many people could handle it for very long.BigTom5 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 12:28 pmAnyone else find it odd to see him bolt after a year for COLBY when both of his brothers are on the staff?! Of anyone Jake probably had the best inside view from the outside. His brother has been coaching with Tills for what 5 years. His other brother played 5 years for Tills. Can’t imagine Jake did not know what he was getting into by coming to Maryland.youthathletics wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 1:36 pmSure do, can't imagine working under TIlls is all that rewarding/fulfilling for very long, unless you are given the keys to your coaching position. Timing is weird but when the opportunity comes along you evaluate and if works you take it.

You and I both don’t know the exact details behind the move. But we can both read into the circumstances.keno in reno wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 2:04 pmOk then big tom, what's your grand conspiracy theory for a guy taking a head coaching job?BigTom5 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 1:43 pmHaha I’m sure you don’t keno! 1. Let’s not pretend like a November jump to Colby is the same as taking a head coaching job at a lower level DI school or a perennially competitive D3 school. This isn’t Reppert going to HC or even Toner going to Gettysburg. Yes, most assistants dream of becoming a head coach, but usually the ones with his kind of resume and reputation wouldn’t sniff a job like that.
2. He just a year ago returned to his alma mater. Moved his wife down. Both his siblings are on the staff. You’re coaching at a top 5 program. You’d think there would be a lot of comfort in that situation.
3. Given 1 and 2, it leads me (and youthathletics above) to think that more is going on than just an assistant wanting to be a head coach. Call us crazy, call us conspiracy theorists, deflect any way you want. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Neither you nor I know the whole story, but my hunch is that for whatever reason he did not have a great time coaching on that staff last year, otherwise he would not have made that move. Reeks of a coach desperate to leave an unfavorable situation.

Correct, neither you or I know the story. The difference is you are making one or more stories up.
Even if he didn't enjoy the past year, who cares? It's his career and family. Do you have a conspiracy theory for Cassese quitting a D1 job to be an assistant?
