I didn’t think Firth would make their top ten,
so looks like IL has made some (good?) adjustments.

Wasn’t Jake Spallina like 87 ish before and now 49? Big jump if that’s correct.
And unless I missed it Hill Plunkett, younger brother to PL ROY Evan, went from 39th to off the list.

Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Thought Kabiri would be above Millon since he's stepping into a starting spot and looking to be more of an impact player. Not that Millon isn't but Shelly still has the keys to the offense.TrooperJT420 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 1:29 pm Just released on IL.com. Duffy is where he belongs. Re: IL Class of 2023 Power 100 Incoming Freshmen
I am not sure where you are getting the 87 number - IL doesn't publish a list of more than 50 until the final version. Perhaps NLF ranked him there at some point, though the most recent ranking they have for him is 26th.Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 2:17 pm Wasn’t Jake Spallina like 87 ish before and now 49? I do wish IL gave more more insight into why certain guys rose or fell.

Here is Ty’s original 2023 Top 50,
https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/ ... ings/60555
Looks like the biggest mover was Willem Firth,
from not top 50, 4 Star,
to 5 Star, number 9 rated.

Re: IL Class of 2023 Power 100 Incoming Freshmen
I think this is just a ranking based on talent evals, not actual impact. I saw Hoffman, Firth, Delgado, Deere, and Nikolic in person and Delgado was far and away the most impressive of the bunch (1 or 2 games, so keep that in mind) and I would not have him top 10 in terms of impact as a freshman. Nothing to do with talent and everything to do with opportunity, Duke is just loaded.GaitsRightHand wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 2:19 pmThought Kabiri would be above Millon since he's stepping into a starting spot and looking to be more of an impact player. Quintan Kilrain also went from off the list to 5-star and #11. Had a huge senior year at Lawrenceville and looks like he'll be in the mix at LSM/D for the Jays early.10stone5 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 2:56 pm Here is Ty’s original 2023 Top 50,

I’ll be keeping close tabs on Kilrain, also good to see Iler making the top 100.

Just based on that above list, if we’re talking about immediate impact and not necessarily the top talent-wise,coda wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 3:06 pmI think this is just a ranking based on talent evals, not actual impact. Re: IL Class of 2023 Power 100 Incoming Freshmen
I got Kabiri. I believe Petro will be back. I saw him play in HS and he was never ball dominant. That will limit Duffy. Going with a goalie was damn good call10stone5 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 5:44 pmJust based on that above list, if we’re talking about immediate impact and not necessarily the top talent-wise,coda wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 3:06 pmI think this is just a ranking based on talent evals, not actual impact.
