Hey youse PL guys--Dr. Tact and Nigel. Is this going to be a game, or an easy Loyola win? Navy got spanked 16-6 earlier this season.


2:30pm - Denver vs Georgetown - FS2

This might be a game if Georgetown plays with fire and determination.


4pm - Albany at Stony Brook - ESPN+

This will only be interesting if Albany makes it a game, (but not much reason to think so as Albany is mired in a 13 game losing streak to SB). Otherwise it will be another Stony Brook beatdown zzzzzZZZZZZ

Noon - Big Ten Championship - Northwestern vs Maryland - BTN Network

Hoping for the Wildcats but knowing Maryland will win.


Noon - CAA Championship - Hofstra vs JMU - Lax Sports Network

Same for Hofstra, but I hold out a little more hope in this game. They fought to double overtime last meeting.


1:30pm - Ivy League Championship - Princeton vs Penn - ESPN+

This one is a true tossup. Rooting for the Tigers

Well, sorry I just saw this and I cant use the way back machine right now....Yes, it was a game for about 10 minutes. But then it was an easy win...Latest US Lax mock shows a repeat of last year with Loyola hosting and Navy in the same bracket...If that happens, will Cindy pull another upset? I think it is unlikely, but she is Cindy...

Watched that one. I thought that might be a closer game, but the Dukes really put Hofstra away early.

That one eliminates any more loose ends as far as the bubbles go. Duke is beating VCU in the only regular season game left 24-13 with about 4 minutes left, so I think we can pencil that in as a win.

Too bad both games start at 3. We’ll see if the broadcast quality makes them watchable.

This is the current status of which 1st round games will be televised/webcast on which stations. Hopefully there will be more details coming as Friday approaches. Very glad to see Stony Brook vs JMU broadcast on BTN Plus. That is my premier game of the 1st round. No one has picked up Notre Dame/Stanford yet. That’s another matchup I find compelling.

8 pm - Notre Dame vs. Stanford - BTN2Go

And that does it for every game in the first round. All televised or webcast. Pretty good country, this America.

Weather delay! Lightning in the area. New tentative start time is 5:05PM according to JMU’s twitter account
