Re: PAC 2023
As we are deep into conference play, let’s take a look at the small western PA Conference.
1. Grove City: They are human again with the departure of Grant Evans. Something I believe the staff didn’t think would be true.
2. SVC: Is as good as Grove City, just need to believe.
3. Westminster: consistency is key in college athletics.
4. Allegheny: They have the best coach in the conference and it showed tonight vs Chatham.
5. Chatham: The MCD era is not going to be as strong as the Dodson era was.
Everyone else ….

Late to the party on this one. But what happened with W&J this year? Why did they forfeit a bunch of games?

Re: PAC 2023
Grove City to me, is a little like the Cabrini of western PA (not comparing academics here, just lax). Still on the come up IMO. Close enough to a decent hub of recruiting. Commitment to the program. Reasonable admissions. I can see them developing into a regular top 20 level program in the decade to come. Assuming their enrollment and endowment hold up unlike my boys in blue & white.
The NCAA game against Cabrini a few years ago...I was very impressed with the talent and scheme. Felt like they just wouldn't go away. Which I loved to see.

They do a good job recruiting and following up with their recruits. The former assistant/recruiting coordinator seemed like a good guy. He's now the head coach at Marietta.MVPiccoli wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2023 10:49 am Grove City to me, is a little like the Cabrini of western PA (not comparing academics here, just lax). The school it self is very religious and conservative, it's not for everyone.

What does Grove City have with the departure of Gladstone?
Re: PAC 2023
GCC will reload this spring. They had some key injuries last spring on the offensive side of the ball. Nice to see SVC adding better OOC games to their schedule.
