Unsure of exact score, but the alumni won by 1 or 2. A great group of alum came to play. I don’t think it should be a concern, but maybe the first time this has been the outcome ever?
Losing your alumni game is a bad look.. I don’t care how talented your alumni are. If you’re practicing every other day, running all the time, and devoting your self to lacrosse, you shouldn’t be losing to a bunch of guys working desk jobs.
Calm down. It is no big deal. First quarter ended with York up 7-1. Starters came out at that point. A few starters came back in with 3-4 mins to play when it was a one goal game.
With all the losses after last season, it was basically all freshman playing for most of the game.

Me: Defends York's relevancy, details how well they've progressed as a program and how good their chances are for this season.

Absolutely, the alumni are just a bunch of beer league guys still throwing the rock around when they can. A lot of lost puppies out there trying to catch a bone. If they want to win in February they need to start playing with a sack instead of having someone's sack in their face.

This doesn't raise any concerns why all freshman are playing? I think the upperclassmen have had enough with the BS from Child's and are looking to enjoy their last year at college and focusing more on getting a career going. I don't think culture is relevant anymore on this team rather than the Captain (Head Coach) of the ship has locked himself in the pilothouse and is going down with his sinking ship.

Did anyone stand out this year at the alumni game? Any new faces with some skills?

Would love to hear about some potential starting and 2nd/3rd lineups for the spring.

My opinion at attack 28 looked good. I think other two spots are still open. 9 made a few plays. 4 looked good.
Mid is going to be 7 and 44. Third could be 13 or 26. Both looked good. Second line, I can see 22 and 31 (and either 13 or 26)

This team needs to tune it up and hit the Spartan wall more before Spring. No more losing to beer leaguers or else Alvernia's 13 man roster is gonna stomp York's teeth in. #DeepPocketAnalysis

Listen Regulator, Did lacrosse Unlimited make you come in on the weekend to work an extra shift. Get out of here you sawed off piece of poop. You probably have never played the game and the only teams you know are the one dicks sporting goods advertises in the lacrosse section. #ButI'm260

Where is this DeepPocket person? You speak of this guy, he comments and then leaves for about 4 months. Sounds suspicious.

I know the alumni game was not the result we wanted. As we all expressed our frustration on the forums. But I think the biggest take away from this past weekend was that the boys were fired up to lead their stretch while the song "Where The Streets Have No Name By U2 was playing in the background. A Child's classic that get the men warmed up to go to war.

Some tidbits from what I heard. York's team looked fast in the first half when the top middies played with the top attack guys. The top 5 middies played little after the first quarter. Even balance between middies and attack scoring. 3 maybe 4 deep at LSM, Close was a little thinner as a couple of upperclassmen did not play. The new kid at the X looked pretty good. lots of kids playing D-Mid. Seems like a pretty clear separation between the goalies.
did not play 2,1,14, 23.

goalies #0, #17, and #37 played. pretty sure #8 is out with injury so we didn't get to see him much.

Does anyone know when fall scrimmages are?

Fall ball scrimmages are October 15th at UA headquarters. Big bro will face little bro as they will play SMCM, and Catholic (Forgive me father for I will for I sinned.) Who will get the start for the the scrimmages you may ask? We will have to find out. Vengeance is in the air for SMCM as York has pulled away the last two season with a spring (pre season scrimmaging) win over them. (Bad Boys Cops theme in the background) it will be up to whoever shows up that day to execute.

Worse than how SMCM is going to make the new York d-coordinator look
