I don't think the statement is sufficiently specific to say it's actually a lie or even factually incorrect as it depends on what is meant.
Biden and his Admin have certainly not been as loud about efforts to stem "illegal" immigration and to bolster border security, but their actions and financial commitments can be fairly argued to be actually more than any prior administration.
Overall undocumented population has stabilized at about 11.4 million, but there are periodic down and upswells of border crossing apprehensions and expulsions and in the last two years that's been an upswell; calmed down a bit but way up these last 2 months. If you think about that a bit, it actually suggests that more is being done, not less.
Likewise, if you look at the policies as well as the financial commitments to border security and immigration, those also indicate "more".
The big problem we face is the politicization of immigration, whether legal of undocumented. That keeps us from making some good common sense improvements.

This issue is such politized bullsh*t. A minority of house members and senate members and their voters (MAGA and their forerunners) have frozen any discussion which might lead to a bipartisan solution. They don't want a solution and haven't. They want to deport 10's of millions of black and brown immigrants, illegal and legal. They want their Lilly white nation. Until this minority "gets real" there will be no solution.
Of course these people never couch their "demand" in these terms. They make easily seen through bullsh*t arguments and claim democrats and liberals don't want any boarders; they claim democrats want to add people from sh*t hole countries to the voting roles because people from sh*t hole countries will only vote for democrats; they claim democrats want to replace true Americans, because true Americans vote for people like this minority who are the only true Americans. No more lame-ass arguments have ever been made and believed by otherwise intelligent people!
A hardcore group of racist white supremacists are holding up the solution with their subversion and lies. The majority of Americans, both republicans (different from republiCONs) and democrats see the need for changes in immigration policy. A solution is possible. In the meantime those desiring a Lily white nation will continue to stoke the flames and threaten the rest of us with violence and a civil war.

STAND AGAINST FASCISM
Re: The Biden - Harris Era.
Of course DeSantis wants to just shoot those who cross the border if they are suspected of possessing drugs. Probably will shoot first and ask later if they are bringing in drugs.
Re: The Biden - Harris Era.
He's okayed contractors to utilize undocumented workers to clear debris from the hurricane. Not clear if he is going to even appear with Uncle Joe on Monday when the POTUS visits Florida.

VP Harris has declared she is ready to take over. I wonder if she knows something we don't?? Maybe she saw the white house tailor measuring up Joe for a custom made strait jacket. The kind with 4 buckles instead of the usual 3.

Seems the Biden Admin is currently guilty of violating our 1st Amendment rights, as many have been saying for years, while others refuse to take their heads out of the sand: https://www.npr.org/2023/09/08/11979719 ... injunction
The AGs claim the government is illegally colluding with social media companies to suppress protected free speech, by urging platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to take action on posts contributing to vaccine hesitancy and other hot-button issues.

This is a "Dems are bad" ruling, YA, and as usual, our media....even the libs at NPR this morning......didn't pay attention to what the ruling said.
Have a look at the article---don't even have to dig in the actual ruling. If Joe Biden or any future Admin. wants to go right back to what you didn't like...what do they need to do? The Judges told them what to do.....

Still, the order limits the scale of the injunction, which had previously included the State Department, the Department of Homeland Security, Health and Human Services. My head isn't in the sand on this stuff. What I'm telling you is that YOUR head is in the sand if you think that every major newspaper in America hasn't had Federal officials on speed dial for their reporters. Or that they haven't asked reporters to hold or not run stories. Or in the case of awesome shops like FoxNews..... hasn't just pumped out what a Republican admin. has told them to pump out, whether it's true or not.
That's why I say: meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Dems don't have an immigration reform bill on the floor.
The R's don't have an immigration reform bill on the floor.
And their supporters don't care. Which means we're at least another generation away from even MINOR fixes to these problems.
