2nd funniest thing I had read on Fanlax this week!
I’m going to have to ask what was the funniest.

None of you all better bad mouth the Terps between now and the next time they play each other. If not for Maryland, 2 of your 3 top 20 wins are gone! Maryland giveth in this Spring season. When you pray to your god, it better be a red-white-black-gold god!! :D :D :D :D :D

Wow! Except for the final score, what is not to like about the caliber of play in the PSU game.

Lots of energy, no concession on GBs, clears, rides, Face offs, etc. Don't "give up" attitude. The Team jelled. They moved the ball, got to open spaces, backed up shots, played pretty good defense against an offensive powerhouse.

I don't think that the Trolls, who criticize Hopkins fans for hypocrisy for now championing the Team when they were so critical previously, don't understand Hopkins fans. It is easy. Hopkins fans are accustomed to well-played lacrosse, and we love our Team. If we play well but lose, it is OK. Don't care who the Coach is. ;) We have had lots of coaches over the last 50 years. I think that the current players now understand that the Game is in their hands. Execute fundamentals, and you are in the game. The last 3 games are like night and day compared to the rest of the year
.

I think that the Team has evolved from "some college players" to Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Players. For Hopkins fans, we know what that means. :D

The future is so bright, we have to wear shades.

We always want all our opponents to be undefeated until they play us.
I am glad to see the USMA in, but if Loyola had held serve, the first team out would have had much less cause for complaint.
Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb'red.

Terp lacrosse has been hard to watch for years--since the Cottle days, anyway. You know, enroll the best lax players in the country and win game 8-7. The shot clock will help, somewhat, but would love to see them play a more wide open style given their talent level year-in, year-out.

Just very pleased that the coaching staff got these players to believe and grab some big wins--and near wins--to secure an NCAA bid. Unlike the last several years, I do believe the Jays will make some noise this post-season.

Lady Jays (10-7) got in and face Florida at Chapel Hill on Friday.

Winner takes on UNC on Sunday.

Hopkins has a very winnable quadrant (heck even the whole half) of the bracket.

@Notre Dame, Duke, UVA/Towson/UMCP would be the likely path to the title game.

My personal opinion is that Yale and Penn State are the best two teams, and they are both in the other half of the bracket - would meet in the final four if they win out.

Duke is not quite as good as they were last year, but I still do not love the idea of yet another quarterfinal against those guys. To say they've had our number is to put it as mildly as humanly possible.

Let's beat those "Golden Domers" first and then take it from there.

Duke as the 2 seed is hilarious to me. I seriously audibly said WHAT?!? when it was announced.

Thanks. I appreciate that. Too bad Hopkins made it in, right? All of us were too optimistic about that too.

Brackets make little sense . Yale and Penn would have to play again in 2nd rd . Dont get Duke as 2nd seed or ND as 7th over Loyola.
