Wasn't much Barr could accomplish. That COVID thing kinda put the KABASH on this investigation and many others. Barr isn't an idiot, he was smart enough to see all the complications from prosecuting Hunter.
What complications? He's not in office, or a Federal employee. NO ONE is complaining that Hunter was investigated or indicted. NO ONE.
The rest of America isn't on the stupid TeamTinFoil Deep State bandwagon, where we clutch our pearls because a Democrat is investigated and indicted. That's the R game you're thinking of.
What is it you think would have happened if Barr dropped the indictment on a petty tax case, cradle? N-O-T-H-I-N-G. No one would care.
Your'e telling me that 3 years isn't enough time to indict, cradle? That's longer than the 9/11 investigation. That's longer than the Mueller report took.
And if you think that's not enough time? Why the heck are you complaining about them "dragging their feet"? You can't have it both ways. And that's why I"m making fun of this silliness.

When Barr finally testifies Uhttps://newrepublic.com/post/174474/star-house-whistleblower-agrees-biden-probe-slow-walkedby-trumps-justice-departmentNDER OATH then the speculation can be finally put to bed. I'm guessing that will satisfy your curiosity?
Nope. NOTHING was keeping the DoJ from indicting him at any point after the Nov. election....and that ASSUMES you buy the buffalo bagels that "we can't indict this guy before the election", which I don't buy. Hunter wasn't running for any office, and EVERYONE knows why he was indicted.
If Barr testifies, they won't ask him the easy, pertinent questions. Things like: why the F did it take an investigation that started way the F back in 2018 only start to request to pull warrants in spring of 2020? What was the holdup under the Trump Administration? Why did this even make to 2020 in the first place? It's a simple tax case they handle all the freaking time.
“You had a concern about … Attorney General Bill Barr consolidating the series of cases into the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware,” Krishnamoorthi started. “Now, of course, Bill Barr was appointed by Donald Trump, correct?” he continued, prompting an affirmative response from Ziegler.
“You said that warrants were ready as soon as April 2020 to begin searching for records, but actions weren’t taken with regard to those warrants,” Krishnamoorthi then asked Shapley. “Again, Joe Biden was not the president in April of 2020. Was he?”
Shapley eventually agreed, popping yet another tire in James Comer’s chaotic clown-car committee hearings.
