My cousin, 10 years older than me, and her family took their annual 1-week family and friends vacation to Ocean City MD. 25+ people, spanning 4 generations. Shared 4 rooms. Every one of them caught the latest COVID variant. Some fun.

25+ people in a 4 bedrooms?
In Ocean City?
Some fun indeed.
I don't think it was a vacation, but one of Dante's circles.

Evidently, this new Covid variant is spreading:

New COVID variant BA.2.86 spreading in the U.S. in August 2023. Here are key facts experts want you to know.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/new-covid- ... w-experts/

Health authorities and scientists say they are now racing to study BA.2.86, a new strain of the virus that causes COVID-19, after the highly mutated variant was spotted spreading in multiple countries around the world and at least three different U.S. states.

For now, officials say they remain well-equipped to deal with the strain if it continues to spread. Early assessments suggest current treatments and tests, as well as upcoming vaccines to be rolled out next month, will not be rendered useless by BA.2.86.

But a number of questions remain about the variant, nicknamed "Pirola" on social media, whose mutations could amount to an evolutionary jump on par with the emergence of the Omicron variant in 2021.

Covid was the extra "treat?!"

But the people make all the difference in the world. I guess it could be very fun, with the right mix of friends and family!

I'm sure we'll see more such actions in order to minimize the spreading of this illness. As for myself, I have not stopped using the mask since the onset of the virus. The mask protects against seasonable allergies that have plagued me all my life. And it sure worked to protect me during the height of this terrible plague.

While reports are that the new variant is not as lethal as the earlier viruses, one should never under estimate its potential impact as certain people can be particularly vulnerable to anything. Preventive medicine is best. Let's all wear masks just in case ...

Former VP of Phizer: https://twitter.com/wideawake_media/sta ... 0068098512

Dr. Mike Yeadon, former vice president at Pfizer, tells Dr. Drew that the experimental mRNA injections rolled out en masse from late 2020 onwards, were deliberately designed to cause blood clots, in addition to the immune system attacking itself.

"My contention is that there are multiple deliberate toxicities built into these materials."

Well of course he is going to earn those labels, jhu. Especially if he was a sitting VP of Phizer at one time. And no I am not saying I believe him.....but you also can not simply discount everything if he was on the inside....clearly knowing more than you or I, or the general public for that matter.

You want to get guys like me to listen to someone who claimed the Covid vaxx makes you magnetic, and isn't a virologist himself?

Stop inviting him on without a recognized expert virologist to challenge his claims on the sport.

....you mean like dr. Peter Hotelezz?

Pleased with your response to this, we bet you are. (thought you wouldn't comment on covid, since ALL we need to do is listen to the experts )

from TLD's useless article. (guess THIS is considered "journalism"......snopes and youtube banners

I had never heard of Yeadon, but a quick internet search revealed he was never the chief science officer at Pfizer. According to a fact check by Snopes.com, that job has been held by a man named Mikael Dolsten since 2010.

Yeadon did work for Pfizer. He was vice president and chief scientific officer for Pfizer’s United Kingdom-based allergy and respiratory unit until that unit shut down in 2011.

And just to be clear, the division had nothing to do with vaccines or infectious diseases. It was focused on developing drugs to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
