sneaky good hire. I'm assuming she's being brought on as an asistant coach? Geirsbach and Aldave are on as Grad assistants and that 3rd Assistant coach position is open

Agreed tremendous hire. Aldave is getting into the NIL fundraising arm at Carolina. She is not returning as a coach as she has completed her graduate studies. I was told this was her decision to leave coaching.

I am so sorry that I triggered some of you by sharing coaching info and clarifying which UNC system school I was referring to. My bad. I added the CH to indicate Chapel Hill, since another UNC system school is adding women's lacrosse, Charlotte (commonly referred to as UNCC) - As another poster commented, typical abbreviations for these schools in the UNC system. I'm also sorry that the actual information being shared, was lost because of this. To those that asked about GA or OC (that would be Grad Assistant or Offensive Coordinator for the triggered), I honestly don't know. It was a generic mass email for a showcase that said Aurora would be there representing UNC. My daughter gets a lot of these emails (again. mass, not saying she is super special), I'm not sure that Grad Assistants are sent out on the recruiting road. But maybe the triggered crew can set me straight. I really don't care. I was just attempting to share something that the group may have found interesting. My bad.

Lol, I don't think the other poster's frustration was really directed at you. Sometimes the use of a player's initials propagates through pages of posts and can be tricky to figure out. Many times I've had to use context clues to solve them and a couple times even realized I was thinking of the wrong player. I don't think it's a huge deal but I get their frustration. But UNC CH is a very common abbreviation. Thanks for sharing your info, I find it interesting. Cordingley's LinkedIn still has her at STX and my understanding was that McCool is OC, so I'm not sure what to make of it.

I assume that the Cordingley information is accurate — I have seen it reported elsewhere. My assumption is that she is filling the new (additional) coaching slot authorized for women’s lacrosse by the NCAA effective July 1.
