Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
For those asking earlier Ally Kennedy was added to Ohio State. She wasn’t there today at their prospect ID but they just added her. That’s a good add.

I was saying in general it’s amazing how some asst coaches change jobs every year. Just an observation.LarryGamLax wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 7:57 pm
Doesn't the new HC get to choose her own staff? The answer to that is YES and AK had no say in that.

Maybe? I don’t know her situation but maybe she doesn’t want to uproot spouse/kids for a better job and at Towson she can keep everything she currently has?

Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
That's exactly what I was thinking: if she's at Towson, she's probably not moving very far, if at all.

My sources are telling me she interviewed at Towson today.hmmm wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 11:58 pmShe’d had much better options than TU

According to a showcase email my daughter received (mass email), Aurora Cordingly is a UNC CH coach.
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
That is correct about Phipps interviewing at Towson. I have been told there are six interviews in a two day period. The job is drawing a lot of interest.suffolk wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 3:10 pmMy sources are telling me she interviewed at Towson today.hmmm wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 11:58 pmShe’d had much better options than TU

Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
Can we all just stop it with the abbreviations and initials, especially when referring to players and coachesa? I realize it may make some feel particularly in the know and plugged in, but it's annoying as hell.lacrosselaxin20 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 10:14 amI’m assuming UNC Chapel Hill, not sure though.
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022-2023
UNC CH is a fairly common way of referring to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It's a way to differentiate it from other schools in the UNC system such as UNC Charlotte (UNCC), UNC Wilmington (UNCW), UNC Greensboro (UNCG), UNC Asheville (UNCA), etc.LaxThoughts wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 10:25 amCan we all just stop it with the abbreviations and initials, especially when referring to players and coachesa? BTW, pls explain what the abbreviation “coachesa” means. Not being in the know or plugged in, that one went over my head.
