UVA casting a pretty wide net. Reached out to Kelly, Klaas, Nielsen, and McCormick all who said thanks but no thanks. 2 current Patriot league head coaches and one Colonial head coach will interview as well as several top assistants include both from existing staff.

Also, to make things interesting, Kennedy apparently has a 2 year contract through next year so I think she is likely around even if she doesn't get the head job, assuming UVA won't buy her out.

She was discussed for the OSU opening. Why would UVA consider her?
Great college player but no college coaching experience.
Adams, Tumalo and Lamonica sound like more likely candidates.

I would highly doubt Adams....

Adams is not moving - sweet set-up at Loyola and living in downtown Baltimore. Plus, pretty stress free winning the Patriots each year and competing nationally.

From what I have heard many of the top names (Kelly, Adams, Tumolo, etc) declined the opportunity to talk about the job. All obviously enjoying success at their current spots. More surprising is that many of the top assistants (Barnes, Kenis, Dobbie) also declined the opportunity.

A couple of my daughters have worked with her at camps/showcases. They said she is incredible, smart and great at Xs and Os, but not very dynamic. The knock on her has always been ability to recruit. The key will be getting great recruiters under her.
