My game within a game .02cents. Gonna be a fun one.

I'd expect a heavy dose of JHU SSDM's getting exhausted by halftime, as a game plan by JL. Terps know how to play slow and know how to get players in ideal spots. JHU will need some some lofty support for their dmids and slides. I expect to see long carries across the top and down the alley to keep the dmids motor running...terps have more midfield depth than JHU does dmids.

I also expect JHU to shoot a ton. Benson will likely use a bunch of screens and picks off the wings to try and breakdown the Terps D and find faults in their communication to switch, stay, or trap.

Not going to pick a winner....would rather just enjoy every nook and cranny.

I'd expect Corley on Epstein and Makar on Williams. When Hopkins went EMO last game, the Terps shut off Marr. I'd expect a similar thing on the EMO and Welding playing him throughout the game.

Yeah.
It looks like the Terps have put themselves on the bubble. Probably, the inside of the bubble, barring a lot of strange conference tournament results.
One strange positive the Terps get from losing is that all their losses are to top 10 RPI teams now.

The second half of the game looked quarters 2-4 from last Saturday. The Terps couldn't get anything going offensively in the second half but got so many good looks in the first half. Defensively, they just got worn out. Hopkins got so many shot clock resets and the Terps had so many failed clears. 18 total turnovers. The defense just couldn't hold up for so long. Such a weird game. The first half felt like a typical Terps game. That second half...wow. Sweating out the bubble on Sunday.

With Loyola barfing at home to Army, we need Yale to beat Cornell tonight. Then Towson needs to win. Otherwise, the Terps might be on the wrong side of the bubble. Crazy, 6 days ago, we were talking 3 seed.

With Loyola losing, it will certainly leave someone deserving out, which could be the Terps.

I think Towson is now irrelevant. They don't have the resume to get in with a loss to Drexel, given that the bubble would be 2 spots tighter than it was coming into Thursday in this scenario.
