the Nation, could have offered up "security" detail for the handouts, like they contracted with the city of Baltimore all those decades ago.

the blood sucking lawyers got almost twice as much as the $400 million "allegedly" spent to solve Flints problem. Who is paying the settlement costs ? don't know how many plaintiffs, but in theory, after the lawyers take their cut, perhaps the same number, $400 million, is left over to hand out to them. That's, what, $4 thousand, per resident.

these poor humans, literally being poisoned, for years. and they signed their rights away to get chump change.

who pays the legal settlement costs ? The epa ?

Ah, it's nothing that a couple of arms sales to our "frenemies" can't solve. Some of these missles systems profit margin is thru the roof.

IN all seriousness, if "fatty" were king, would have mandatory, online, real time reporting/data , to the EPA, continuous, for ALL water works. TODAY. while the system (and "private" profiteering ) can be set up, water works can be regionalized.

ANY, water works found to be below, or above, pollution thresholds...BAM....shut down, all get customers get filters (US made only ) and temporary, neighborhood reverse osmosis systems, where pratical, can be installed. Lots of work to be created.

Isn't that what the "build back better" stuff is doing.   (good lord, don't even BRING that issue of more waste, eh Biden supporters )

Cost? who cares. plenty of same ole, same ole, skimming, huckstering, corruption, etc. can be allowed to go on. But, this time, it's for a better cause than missile, amo dumps or US tax payer funded, from R &D, to shipment, F16's.

Wouldn't you agree ?

Where can we find updates and reports on the status of all the "build back better" projects across this great nation of ours, and , specifically, how much of that is going towards our water supply ?

PLEASE.........b/c climate change IS real, we need to spend the BBB funds on the easy. Highway repair for fossil fuel burners.

ask yourself, what has MY local water works done to improve pollution free, quality water, to it's customers ?

Having a well is swell.

Only, better get the EPA involved. Not like they drafted legislation claiming "rainclouds" overhead to be within their domain.

Heard some myth that certain states, based on this EPA claim, were taxing rain.

taxing rain......now THAT is funny. as if something like that would ever happen.

One of the first known instances of PFAS chemicals polluting the water supply is the Chemours plant leeching them too close to the Cape Fear River upstream from where Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) has its intake ports. CFPUA services Wilmington NC and surrounding areas. For those not on public water Chemours was ordered by EPA and NC DEQ to provide reverse osmosis systems. Whole house for certain levels, under sink for lower levels. Unfortunately for some reason CFPUA had to spend millions - with commensurate charges to customers - to improve the public water filtration as is suing for recovery. NC DEQ is requiring Chemours to build a mile long leeching block to perevent future leeching into the river.

the well water, that irrigates the nations produce and waters the livestock, are THOSE tested for pollutants?

What the heck, does the EPA even exist for, if they can't map water works pollution. Screw "fines", your going to JAIL for attempted manslaughter.

All this tech, but have systems like 14th century London.

The case involved the EPA abusing their power by not allowing the couple to develop the land they had purchased. EPA claimed some of the land was wetlands. You can step back off the ledge nobody is trying to threaten the quality of our water.

I know exactly what I'm talking about and what my point is. I'm not okay with the EPA being given carte blanch to do whatever they want while being held accountable to no controlling authority whatsoever. The EPA got exactly what they deserved. They got their asses handed to them finally. That won't stop them from doing the same thing tomorrow. The one thing that has not changed is that they can and will do whatever they want under the flag of... but we are only doing it for the good of the planet. No surprise that gullible liberals swallow their agenda hook line and sinker like a largemouth bass.

CONservatives used to condemn judicial activism but are applauding it nowadays. How convenient of them to do so.
