Be a fool not to take a tie game entering Q4 if offered the opportunity. Just go win the 4th boys. H-E-N-S Fight, fight fight.

Kurtz was in his sweet spot
but he was thinking shot before he caught it

Great season Hens
way to represent the CAA.

The key play was the O’Neill conversion off the save.

Owen Grant and Tye Kurtz,
a tremendous 5 years.

Kurtz with 180 career goals, is in the top 20 all time.

Grant had Brennan O’Neill shut down for most of that game and he’ll be the number two close defenseman on Team Canada later this year.

Michael Robinson could be back next year, he’d be an odds on All American, JP Ward will be back, and some good underclassmen and freshmen, toss in a transfer or two — Hens could be back to the dance.

Matt Kilkeary will be gone too. Is Reddy ready? Current Fr. Brendan Powers looks like he’s ready to play an important role. Cam Acchione is back. Finn Morgan filled in for Robinson when he was out, he showed some promise. I believe a couple of highly rated recruits are expected in Newark for next year too. Coach produces a very well organized and disciplined unit on the field who normally do the basics well; add in some special players and who knows.

After this weekend, I expect the Hens will be well in the final top 15.

Great showing from Delaware — Sorry the Blue Hens came up a bit short but what a great lacrosse game to watch.

Yeah, really was pulling for Hens in this one.

I'm not sure whether to credit Duke D or discredit Hen's 6 v 6 O ? Perhaps both.

Is having a priest on the team a form of divine intervention? ;) Congratulations on a terrific game .

Well, yes they did. They had the ball with about 50 seconds left and called TO. Unfortunately, the went out a little sloppy and turned the ball over in pretty short order. End of game.

For the other poster, the Hens don’t have a priest on the team. Should have listed as Brendan Powers (Fr.) and not the way it was typed. Brendan is frorm up in NY and, as I understand it, the son of a former Hen standout. We met his mother at one game, very nice family. He should have a good career at UD.
