His bio on Lehigh.edu says in 2019 he did not see any action. Was he injured? If he was on the active roster in 2019, does that mean he gets a redshirt year? 2019 through 2023, that's 5 seasons. Or does the NCAA give him an extra (6th) year? Not right imo if he does get a 6th year....

Patriot League doesn’t allow non-injury red shirt years. Not sure why he missed 2019 but unless he was injured and the application for red shirting was filed with the NCAA he would lose that year. 2020 was COVID year.

If he was academically ineligible he loses the year, from what I have seen and heard he is out of eligibility.

Looks like UVA will be big players for FOGO's this off-season.

A little surprising with LaSalla’s departure after this season and Braun having missed this season with injury. I wonder if this is a reaction to a transfer-to-come by a FOGO not in the portal yet? Or is one of the FOGO’s in the portal (the Brown FOGO?) inbound and Eldridge sees himself as possibly stuck behind another guy?

I suspect UVA will be a top destination for the Brown FOGO, it matches up to well.

As for Eldridge himself it could be a variety of reasons. Maybe as someone noted his experience at UVA just didn't match up to what he was hoping or looking for (it happens). Maybe he feels he will have a better shot at PT elsewhere or that he can land a big NIL deal. Could just want to test the waters as well as UVA has a history of dudes going into and then pulling back from the portal.

Reynolds from RU seems like a great get. Played in over 30 games during the 2 years, 2nd line LSM helping them reach the final four and switching to SSDM this year to help a depleted unit that graduated all 4 shorties. 2 years of eligibility left.

45 days of the undergrad portal will be interesting.

Not happy with his playing time and his role.. Considering the ball was in Myers stick for the bulk of the time, he wasn't used to being an offball player. Hearing he's heading back to the A 10 (not Hobart).

The LSM's are plenty athletic. See Splaine for starters. If you mean some of the other SSDM's, that's probably true.

Reynold's wants to be a long pole. That's not in the cards at Rutgers. Good luck to him, he had a great experience there playing in the final four. He will be a nice pick up for someone.

Interesting note in the Inside Lacrosse article on the portal (Ty Xanders, I think?) — reports that two unnamed 2023 tournament teams have already reached out to Mac Eldridge. Georgetown (guessing) and . . . Penn State? Other guesses?
