I had mentioned depth earlier but had not had the opportunity to see Michigan play two games on a short turnaround. They have plenty of depth where it really matters—defensive midfield—and can throw out multiple combined if o middies. Unlike too many teams, their attack is not one dimensional—feeder, dodger, finisher, lefty shooter, etc. Both the lefties can dodge and finish, and the righty has almost an equal number of goals and assists.

Mich "team" defense was spectacular

For 2024, gotta believe that Tillman is tired of the attack not being the best, specifically multiple attackmen easily guarded by shorties.

What’s the solution? Portal?

Malever would be one if he is recovered from his extensive leg injury. Maybe there's a young guy on the roster, or maybe an existing regular can significantly improve his dodging. Maybe it's portal, but every other team will be looking for top transfers as well, so who knows.

Malever coming back with Erksa will be great. Malever is like hitting the portal for a major piece.

Odd seeing Tillman absolutely snub Conry in the handshake line. I know you’re unhappy with the outcome, but maybe take a couple seconds to congratulate a guy who you coached with for five years and helped you win your first championship.

Maybe Conry's socks didn't match.

The Terps will not be able to rely on him for a possession advantage.

It will be interesting to see how Maryland's depth holds up on short rest. Tills has built up depth on both ends of the field due to experimenting with line combos, and injuries. If they can get healthier before the NCAAs (Zap, Geppert), that could really pay off.
Good prediction.

That's certainly not the most striking stat difference.

He was a commit for about 2 weeks and then de-committed

yep. When he saw Shockey leave Naps and his old coach went to Michigan it became much more attractive.
