I was just reading an interesting and timely article: The truth of why evangelicals can't stand drag. Sure confirms my experience in the Lutheran Church as a young teenager.

I have zero issue with drag, or the LGBTQ+ as a whole. My concern was in this recent back and forth on Gender reassignment before the frontal cortex is developed....IMHO you are correct, the medical staff is majorly at fault, I would be surprised if a legal case can be argued that it goes against the Hippocratic Oath, but parents/children signing away their rights gives them protection. My point..someone needs to step in.

Honest question, were you not sure of your own gender prior to your prefrontal cortex fully developing?

This isn't some executive function decision. It's an inherent part of someone's being. People's brains develop one way and their bodies develop another way. It's a matter of getting their body to match their brain (since we can't change their brain).

Someone is already stepping in, and has been for decades. Properly trained medical professionals, patients and their parents - not politicians or media personalities. And those professionals are doing their best to help their patients and/or parents. And yes, to first do no harm. And the VAST majority of the time they're improving patients' lives.

I'm sure you'll find some exceptions to the rule. Good for you.

... it's a bad design! The guy that designed the damn thing should be fired. It's like there was no overarching "system" design at the beginning. This personality puts a heavy emphasis on "natural selection", "survival of the fittest", and similar perspectives. And, along the same lines, they operate under the belief that because they, so to speak, know the truth and they own numerous automatic weapons that they are the ones who will survive. And surviving is manly. Make no mistake, I'm not denigrate survival. Survival is good. I'm just questioning whether their metrics for who will survive are accurate. And, as a consequence, I'm questioning how manly they are. I'd argue, they're less manly and more animal-ly.

... i'd argue these types won't survive. They think by sending us all back to the stone age, their stock will rise. We are not going back to the stone age and these guys are incapable of being successful in the current and likely future environments. Nature is in the process of selecting against them.
