More of the same so far. Just an unprecedented string of wins in what should be an even series.

Four goals is too big a deficit when you can’t win a face-off.

Given Shutz's second half impact, I'm surprised UVA isn't seeking to exploit mismatches with him and Miezan on every possession.

Turned it off at half but turned it back on cause I'm a masochist I guess. Right when they give you hope it gets crushed in heart breaking fashion - c'est la vie

Was it O’Neill that shot with 20 seconds left? Whoever it was… almost came back to bite them. I think Conner could have taken a couple of steps and shot from closer in at the end. Great game, though.

Yep that was O'Neil. Can see how in the moment of the game you would shoot but yes certainly not advisable to shoot that - Nunes stepped up there today and in general

I missed the end. Did UVA have any chances to tie it at the end? If so, what happened?

Yes. In fact UVa had the last possession, and Conner shot from distance with about 4 seconds on the clock IIRC. This was directly after Duke found O’Neill on a long clear, and he shot with about 20 seconds left on the clock, instead of holding it.

EDIT: According to the pbp, Conner actually shot with 1 second left.
