I'm curious about this, too. As well as the BL-Culver score...
He's back.
And Culver is good.

Malvern Prep pulls out to a decent early lead and holds off CH in the second half to win 12-11.

Man, the best team in the conference might not be from Baltimore. It might be from AA County. This team has been getting better each of the past couple years, and is off to a fire start this season. Starting the season with a perfect, unblemished record heading into league play this week. Congrats to Severn going an impressive 8-0 to start the year. First conference game out will be a real test, playing a highly-talented St Paul's team.

Admirals are good...Saints are better. Quality of competition is a factor. RPI and Strength of Schedule mean more.

Excited for league play!

I like that better too!

VSN top 15 poll is out. Again speaking to the quality of this league- ALL 11 teams in the league are ranked after a month of out-of-conference play.

Your picks sound good! However, I do hope that JC and MSJ show improvement and are a lot more competitive in multiple contests.

Alright folks! Who wins it all in 2023?

I say St. Mary's. The Saints have loads of fine players, but no real flashy superstars(Golini would be the closest to that). In addition, no one can be more hungry than they are after coming so close last year. We also can't forget that multiple players on their team have experienced playing in back-to-back title games, as they were on a championship-winning JV squad two years ago.

They are fun to watch. First midfield back and F/O tandem back. Lost 1 D, 1 A, 1 LSM, 1 SSDM, and 1 G. Replacements have stepped right in. The new lsm is very good, but Acton was a ground ball monster.

All blow out games with the favorites winning except STP winning late.

It looked like McCabe Millon was still out injured for McDonough but his brother was filling in nicely. Is McCabe even playing yet?

Saints defense was suffocating. Cards had 10 shots on goal.
