It was a pretty difficult game for the Big Green... We need to figure out the FO situation.... Fast....

First of all, credit to BH for being ready to play from the opening whistle and executing. They were clearly the better team on Wed. DA had a couple issues come to the surface during the game. In addition to struggling at the face off dot, clearing, shot clock management, integrating new players effectively, initiating offense, putting shots on cage and backing them up are all on the list. Brunswick is well-suited to exploit each of those issues tomorrow so hopefully Chip was able to address at least some of them in what I imagine were very focused practices yesterday and today.

16-12 Salisbury over Loomis. Loomis lead 9-7 at half, but a hot face off guy and clinical finishing created 8 goals in the third quarter for the Knights.

Brunswick more than doubles Deerfield 21-10. Might be a long season.

Avon beats a surprisingly tough Tabor 16-11. Winged beavers were up 14-5, but Tabor crawled back.

Taft down 9-6 at St Sebs at half. A livestream is available.

Rhinos go down?!? Bury had some bus legs and then exploited a weaker Loomis team.

Wick looks to be the real deal. Choate with a win over a mediocre team. They have horses though.

Hotchkiss has andover but no score. Westy took care of nmh. TP with an off weekend.

3rd quarter seems to be Salisbury’s happy place at the moment. 9 goals unanswered last Wednesday and 8 today.

Not so accurate Division 1-2-3 Rankings

Not a lot of data points to start moving teams around so teams were mostly left where they were. Had to decide what was a scrimmage and what was a game. If anyone has any scores, please post. Sorry for the formatting. Dont know how to fix it easily.

Fun stuff and indeed hard to start with this so early in the season. I am curious where you have gotten so many scrimmage scores. Teams typically don't list them and they aren't generally reported on sites like IL. For West-1, I am very glad to see that Kent and NMH actually played this year. Those two have several years of just about if not entirely O'fer in West-1 yet rarely play due to location.

Pcowlax, great question. To be honest, I dont even know if these scores or outcomes from scrimmages are accurate. I unfortunately don't have the results of probably 60% of the scrimmages. The ones I do get, I either get from great forums such as this one, or word of mouth through mutual friends in the lacrosse network, or very rarely, they are posted on the schools website. Not a very accurate method of data gathering though...

Oh and I totally agree about Kent and NMH. When they have played it was also later in the season but it does solidfy who has bragging rights this year between the two teams, though I have heard NMH is trying to get better.

the tricky teams are the ones in division 3. Almost no score reporting out there

Just looked at IL scoreboard and noticed Salisbury played Millbrook today. Knights won 16-10. Don't see that any other NEW schools played.
