I really struggle to see why 3-4 York should jump W&L who they lost to for beating Grove City? They have no wins over ranked teams. I don’t see York moving up for any reason other than previous seasons until they beat Denison or Gettysburg.

Based on 2023, I'd put both Bowdoin and Dickinson ahead of York. As well as several other teams...

Dickinson on a 3 game losing streak and only ranked won was Cabrini. Three losses in a row to 3, 19, and unranked.

Muhlenberg over Dickinson

Head-to-head, yes. Quality wins (and losses), no. Muhlenberg badly needs another quality W. Maybe SJF is that other quality W (besides Scranton) but without a W, it's hard to call SJF a quality win.

I'd take a head-to-head ONE day ago as a quality win. I get it that we like to keep the "name" ranking as long as we can, but ONE day ago?

While we're at it, look at Muhlenberg and Ursinus common opponents. Muhlenberg performed better in EVERY contest (as well as beating Ursinus last year) but is constantly ranked behind them. Keep the "name" rankings going.

Ursinus was a top 20 when they beat them, so you are factually wrong.

In any event, at this point it’s just fans of one team arguing with fans of another. But I do so get a chuckle when those who are just too busy to fill out their own rankings seem to find innumerable amounts of time to pick apart a perceived slight to the team they’re a fanboy of.

It’s why I myself don’t do an poll anymore. Too many people chiming in with what they think you did wrong, who refuse to make themselves vulnerable to similar questioning. Contribute nothing other than to tell you they think you’re wrong.

You should still do the polls. Most people that attack pills are just upset that the team they cheer for, isn’t doing good. Probably not aimed at you

Hey charlie; Respectfully disagree about Denison. Several years ago Coach Caravana had a team lead by Butler/Rooney in the semis and one pass away from the finals. I think Big Red has a solid chance to run the balance of their 2023 schedule into May. Depending on the new bracket system they could have a decent shot at RIT in a semi. I consider Big Red - Best of the West. Thank you for posting.

Let the haters hate ... the Big Red will win that playoff game one day and here's hoping it's this year. You're correct- was 2016 (Qs) and 2017 (final 4) Denison lost to eventual National Champ Salisbury by 1 goal. '16 was in OT.

I feel that anyone that currently has RPI, SJF or Stevenson in their poll is not serious, Dan Kaplan included.
