Trap game for Penn State.

Too bad, that’ll be viewed as a bad loss,
it looked like a trap game to me.

Anybody know why that game was played at a neutral site in NY?

A quick look through pregame pressers didnt really say why, I'm just curious what the program ties are for either side...

That's an annual invitational game sponsored by the Long Island Metro Lacrosse Foundation. They find two different teams each year that are willing to play there.

That's a bad loss, though. Just like Michigan's loss to Marquette was a bad loss.

Or … Marquette is a talented but inconsistent team that can play well enough to beat Michigan and Penn State, but also badly enough to lose to Bellarmine and Utah (no disrespect to those two teams).

You've clearly become too used to making excuses over these past few years of Hop lacrosse.

Wow OSU last? Behind UM. Interesting. Could this be the year RU climbs the Md mountain?

OSU have not been competitive in at least three of their losses (I didn’t catch the Denver game). I think they will have a hard time putting up more than ten goals against pretty much every other B1G team besides Michigan. And Michigan seems to have improved. They were relatively competitive against UVa, and have quality wins against Delaware and Harvard. I like that Conry has put some tougher games in their early-season schedule, to really test the team, and force them to play at a higher level.

I think whoever loses the Michigan-OSU game will be in the cellar of the B1G. Their game will be in Ann Arbor.

Thought the same thing. Surprised Drew Blanchard isn’t taking draws. No Knox or
LaCalandria either, not sure why Myers bothers w transfers.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Wow. OSU up 7-2. Still early but 7-2 isn't a small margin. We'll see...
