I am as well, believe it or not. I want to see them do well. Praying for a W in conference play, would be amazed to get 2... I think the allure of UM as a school sells itself.

I am sad the lacrosse program has not elevated yet. They have the resources and academics. IL say's they're getting decent enough recruits to make it happen. But, it's not happening yet...

I definitely think they are getting decent enough recruits. This year will be more of a telling sign about Conry than ever before, as I have said. He is in his sixth season, so not only are the players his, but they are much more experienced than they were the previous two seasons.

A while ago, someone had mentioned that it is very possible for the Michigan team to be much improved this year and the 2023 record not improve much given the strength of the conference. Reminder of that line as there are 5 B1G teams in the top ten right now. Will be tough.

Yes, that is all very true. Let’s see what their performances are like against their Big Ten opponents.

On to Harvard this weekend. If I were Michigan, I would be more fired-up for this game than any other so far in program history. Not only are they out to revenge a loss from last year, but Harvard was the team that started their eight-game, season-ending losing streak.

Predictions?

Good one between Michigan and Harvard. Tied 9-9 at the half. This would be one of the bigger wins in Michigan Lax history if the Wolverines can get it done.

Was a fun game to be in person for. Lot of goals, lot of offense. Made the weather a little more bearable. I made a comparison to UMich and Harvard at the beginning of the year and some Harvard fans were ready to tar and feather me.

Well guess what, tough to compare when UMich goes on the road spanks Harvard by 6 and almost 20 pieces them.

Great win by Michigan and excited to see this program continue to grow. B10 is a grind but looking forward to the maize and blue to make some noise

Wow! What a comeback and win for Michigan over a very decent Harvard squad! Folks, I simply said that, for people to believe in Conry, his program needed to show serious improvement this season. And so far, it is very fair to say that they have. If things go well and they keep improving, don't count out the Wolverines making some noise in the Big Ten this season!

Congrats to the Wolverines and Coach Conry on one of the biggest wins so far in program history!

Harvard is unranked. This was a W. That's it. Delaware win was bigger.

On to hosting powerful Notre Dame. Don't want to lower anyone's standards. But with their hunger and the way they are looking, just keeping it close for most of the game should be a confidence-builder.

Why put your cleats on to keep it close, go win the damm game, they have the talent

Tough one against a tremendous Notre Dame team today. We can hope that Michigan's tough OOC schedule will have them well-prepared for Big Ten play. By the way, yes, Michigan has enough talent so that anything worse that a 2-3 record in regular season conference play should be viewed as a disappointment.

Would be a huge win if they can beat Hopkins. The Jays are a lot better than people think.

Hopkins is ranked 8th. I think people know they are good.

Yes, but I still think they are better than many people realize, regardless of their ranking.

Yes they are ranked 8th, yes they are much improved from last year. But, I am not sold yet. I may bet on Michigan with a nice upset. Hop played Navy (3 goal win), St Joes (1 goal win) and Cuse (2 goal win) a little too close for a top10 team vs non top 20 teams.

For the record Michigan is no longer a top20 team but are still receiving votes. Draft kings has +115... Typically with a #8 team and a non ranked you don't see this low of a Moneyline. I think Vegas knows they're not as good as their rank.

Yes, I agree with you. And I do think Hopkins has the potential to get better and better. I definitely could see a Michigan upset.
