Nice. Talibangelicals just about got us where they want us...soon to be a pre-health care society. What's next, leeches and bleeding? These imbeciles are destroying our country faster than any external threat could.
"An Idaho hospital will stop labor and delivery services, citing doctor shortages and the "political climate," the hospital announced Friday.
"Highly respected, talented physicians are leaving. Recruiting replacements will be extraordinarily difficult," Bonner General Health, located in the city of Sandpoint, said in a news release.
Pregnant women who utilized Bonner General, a 25-bed hospital, will now have to drive to hospitals or birthing centers in Coeur d'Alene or Spokane to give birth. "

Not to be outdone by Wyoming, the Floriduhs counter with:
"A bill backed by Republicans in Florida would ban girls younger than grade six from discussing their periods while at school, according to the lawmaker who proposed the legislation.
State Rep. Stan McClain proposed House Bill 1069, which would limit instruction on sexual and reproductive health to grades six through 12. The bill is part of a string of laws being pushed by Florida Republicans related to gender and sexuality.
In a subcommittee hearing on Wednesday, Democratic state Rep. Ashley Gantt asked McClain if the bill would "prohibit conversations about menstrual cycles" for girls who get their periods before sixth grade, noting girls typically start menstruating from ages 10 to 15, which would include fourth and fifth graders.
McClain responded: "It would.""
Wow. Just fcuking "Wow!!"
What a fcuking idiot.

Maybe Meatballhead really doesn't want to be president. Maybe he is just running because his wife, who fancies herself as Jackie 2.0, wants him to.
So he's pushing through legislation that may result in preteen girls being incarcerated so that no one in any normal part of the country will vote for him.
Just a late night idea.

When are they just going to relocate the capital to The Villages?
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Re: The Abortion Thread
I would say probably not. If he doesn’t run, then the field is cleared for Trump who can’t beat Biden again, I don’t think.
If DeSantis runs (he is) and gets the nomination, he would be a more formidable opponent for Biden. Trump may try to run third-party. He’d have to get the sore loser laws ruled unconstitutional, which I think they are. Under that scenario, I don’t think DeSantis could win. But I think he could be a problem in a one on one battle with Joe.
DeSantis continues to shoot himself in the foot with all of these crazy things he is doing. If he avoided a lot of this “crazy,” he’d have a good chance. Yes, he is appealing to his base, but he is driving away the swing voters he would need to win the general election. His best bet would be to wait until 2028 and reinvent himself in the intervening four years, but it doesn’t look like he is going to do that.

I want both Trump and Desantis to run in the primaries, knock the sh*t out of each other, outdo each other's worst impulses, have Desantis win the GOP nomination, and then have Trump run as a third-party candidate.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 9:02 amThe Democrats WANT him to run.njbill wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 11:47 pm Maybe Meatballhead really doesn't want to be president. I thought about that quite a bit, but there is significant risk. Trump very well could win as an independent, which could change the course of elections and politics for eternity. So the trump supporters can't stand trump. That doesn't surprise me. They seem to forget that the chameleon that trump is spent his formidable years in NYC as a Democrat. Trump knew were to distribute his campaign money among the democratic elite of the big apple. Those Democrats were pretty fickle. They may have hated trump behind his back but they sure loved his money.Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 4:18 pmSeems to make my point.youthathletics wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 4:12 pmWas killing sometime, sipping an afternoon Turkish Coffee, after some yard work...stumbled on this.
